Hello! I'm back!(for a while). Sorry for disappearing but the note at the bottom will explain some things.

"So where are we going Horror?" Cross asked, following The wolf who didn't turned around to see him.

"What are you doing here?"

"I just want to spend some time with you," Cross answer. "Try to be friends since we don't really talk much since Nightmare always grabs me when I get to close to you."

Horror knew he was right and he also knew why. Ever since Cross became part of the pack Horror has only seen him as snack and nothing else. And Nightmare has been pretty pissed about that. His mouth would get watery quickly when he saw him.

"I also know that, but that doesn't mean we're not friends." Horror said, sniffing that ground.

"Why are you sniffing? We have plenty of food back in cave, we don't have to go search for another village to steal from." Cross looked at Horror who's ears went pointing up and his head volt up. Did he picked up a smell? Or did he her danger? "Horror? You okay?"

"Run."

Cross look at him confused before  he was being pinned to the ground by a dog.

Cross shriek as the dog bit him in the neck. Horror just froze in Horror, watching how Cross was being bitten and having some of his flesh and fur being tear off him and also seeing how Cross try to bite the dog or scratch it, for only to get his paws bitten by the dog. "HORROR HELP ME!"

Horror quickly snapped out of it and went for the neck. For only to be greeted with pain and warm liquid coming out of his mouth. Horror could feel how blood came out of his mouth. He looked back at the dog's neck for only to see a collar with red spikes on it. It hurt too much that he would let Cross died just to go home and rest. But he'll probably get killed by Nightmare if he let his "special" partner die.

Horror quickly ignored his pain to push the dog off Cross with his claws. He gave it a feel deep cuts  before slamming the creature with a rock. The dog whimper, but quickly went to attack Horror who dodge the attack, and then went for the snout. The dog yelp, hitting Horror with its paws and scratching him. Horror had to also ignore that pain including the one in his mouth. He quickly pin the dog to the ground while biting harder on the dog's snout to the point of blood coming out.

BAM!

Horror's head shot up to see the closest tree to him with a hole through it. He looked back to the place he thinks made that hole, for his face to go pale. There standing there was a human, looking at him. The human was what looked like holding one of those things that every animal calls Boomstick. He got off the dog as he saw how the human was putting with what looked like a small ball into the stick.

He looked back Cross who was now laying on the floor motionless. Horror quickly ran towards him and grabbed him by the neck and began to run as another BAM! went on behind them. Horror didn't wanted to lead them back to the cave so he had to take a long cut.

Horror couldn't hear anymore barks or bams or anything that had to be the human. He quickly stopped and gave a relief sigh and gently dropped Cross in the ground before he fell on the ground next to him. His legs were tired his body and mouth hurt. He was just happy to not be moving again.
