Maisey Jones, a name that'll echo throughout the halls of Liberty High school. Why you might ask? Maybe it's because she's friends with two of the most popular guys in the school, or maybe, just maybe it's because her heart was ripped to shreds by the person she considered her boyfriend.

"Fuck" the brunette haired girl mumbles as she fumbles off her bed, straight onto the cold wooden tiles of her bedroom floor. A sigh escapes out of her mouth as she realises what today is, 'back to hell'.
The teenage girl drags her limp, tired body towards her bathroom and into the shower. Sluggishly standing under the patter of the water as she now feels at peace, only for a moment.
Groggily and still half asleep, the girl makes her way to her closet, it expanding with touch as the young girl has too many clothes to manage. Looking through her closet for an outfit, she's pulled out of a daze as her mobile phone starts blaring, an incoming call from the one and only, Bryce Walker.
Bryce Walker, 'King of Liberty High', or so he likes to tell himself. The girl views Bryce as an idiotic, rude and immature asshole with no respect for anyone outside of his circle of friends. But, she also sees Bryce Walker as her best friend. You heard right, best friend.
Bryce Walker and Maisey Jones have known each other long before they were taking their first steps. Their parents were good friends in high school and even went into investing into businesses together here and outside of Cresmont. They've been raised as siblings, even though Maisey has two of her own, Bryce and her have always looked out for each other and they always will for as long as each other are living.
"Good Morning, Mais" the blonde hair blue-eyed teenager says from the other side of the line. "Good Morning, Bryce", she responds, her eyes moving back towards the pile of clothes seeping out of her closet as they speak. The girl finally decides on an outfit, pulling herself from her bed and finally getting herself dressed whilst making small talk with Bryce. It was almost as though it was tradition, every morning the pair would speak, it didn't have to be long, short and sweet was usually the way to go. But every single day, he'd call her, or the other way round, and for a few seconds of each day they would forget about the stress in their lives.
"Be a good best friend and pick me up today, please." The petite girl tells the boy, already knowing what he'll say 'you know it, be there in 20'. "You know it, be there in 20", he responds before hanging up, the girl chuckling at his response.
"Good morning, honey. Alina made family breakfast today so eat up" her mom says, sliding Maisey the plate of food as she makes her way to sit at the kitchen island. "Thank you, Alina", the girl shouts, knowing the kind woman would be somewhere around the house doing some sort of house chore. It's a blessing and a curse to have a maid, on one hand she's glad that her parents are giving this woman a job that pays well, but on the other hand, she sees no purpose for her family needing a maid other than having more money than brains.
"So...we have another business trip coming up tomorrow", her mom speaks to her as she puts a grape into her mouth, crushing it between her jaw before speaking. "Let me guess, you and dad won't be home for a week or two" the dark haired girl responds lamely, already despising the idea of her parents being gone again. It was never a problem for her when her parents left for weeks at a time, it wasn't until her twin brother and sister left for college that she finally realised how alone she is in their huge home.
The girl is now having an even worse day than she already had been having, there was no getting her out of this mood now. She knew her parents love for her was strong, but she couldn't help but feel that they didn't love her enough to make an effort to be around her more, especially when they were the ones who called the shots.
A beep of a car horn from outside brings the girl out of her day dream, startling her and her mom before she realises it's only Bryce. "I gotta go, see you and dad next week I hope", she says weakly, scoffing slightly before making her way out the door. "Good morning, you look after my girl, Bryce" her mom says, eyeing Bryce playfully. "I always do, don't I".
