After finally dropping Scott off home, the girl was finally able to sleep.

Maisey POV

by the time morning had come the atmosphere felt different, a good kind of different. I made my way out of bed, feeling better and much more energised than the day before. As I completed my morning routine, putting my shoes on last, I heard very familiar voices coming from downstairs. I quickly made my way downstairs, shoes untied, off to investigate what was happening in my house, just to be met with my older twin brother and sister.

"Morning, Champ" max, my older brother greets as he pulls me into a hug.

"What're you guys doing here" I mumble against his chest, feeling much better to finally have my two partner in crimes back.

"Well hello to you too, sister" my sister Mia interrupts, pulling me out of my brothers grasp and into her own. "You know college was never for us, so we decided to take a gap year"

"That is right, Maisey Lou" my brother agrees, teasing me by calling me one of my least favourite nicknames. Growing up with two older siblings, as well as Bryce and Justin, I became immune to the long list of nicknames they made up for me. Some of them I enjoyed and others I wished I could never hear of again.

"Good morning, darling" she hears from behind her, her parents. Now astonished and slightly confused she asked the same question.

"What're you all doing home" she questioned, a smile on her lips as she felt better being in the comfort of her home surrounded by her entire family.

"Well..." Mia trails off before Max interrupts, "we're going to Bali as of tomorrow".

"Funny, someone die" I ask in a monotone voice. Although I'm sure they're being 100% serious right now. 'Bali doesn't sound too bad anyway, I could do with a getaway' I thought to myself.

"No silly girl. We're going, the Walkers are too of course" my mom says, sipping on her freshly made coffee straight from the machine. It was a tradition every year for my family and Bryce's family to go on vacation together, however we never go so soon after school starts back. Interesting.

"Okay, and Justin is coming too, right" I question, getting a huge smile from my dad.

"You know he is. Right off to school you go, be back home quick to pack your bags for tomorrow" my dad says, kissing my forehead before ushering me out the door.

"The queen has finally arrived" Justin obnoxiously announces in the hallways causing students to look my way as I chuckled. After Hannah and Jess join us at our lockers, we quickly lull into conversation. The jocks beside us doing the same.

"Guess who's going to Bali tomorrow" I announce to the group, heads turning my way as I spoke.

"We are" Bryce says, finishing my sentence for me before raising his hand to give me a high-five.

"It's been one day and you're already leaving me alone in Biology" Zach groans "and don't get me started on History". A sigh escapes my lips as I chuckle at Zach's reaction, letting him know that I will do everything I can to ensure he passes his classes that are worth the majority of his grade.

Justin, once loud and chirpy, is now quiet and closed off. Probably because he heard Bryce and I talking about leaving for Bali.

"Pack your bags, Justy. We leave first thing tomorrow" I tell him as his eyes finally meet mine again.

"What—no, you guys don't have to do that" he stumbled out, of course Bryce and I weren't taking no for an answer.

"Yes we do, you fucker. We could never leave your ass behind" Bryce snickers punching the shorter boy in the shoulder.
