Sweet Winter Day

Circa Finem III

"Stay away from my girlfriend!" Jimin shouted as he punch the mans face with his bare hands. Jeongyeon was in the corner shock at Jimin aggressively pulling the man's collar.

This was the first time Jihyo and Joengyeon see Jimin so aggressive and scary. 

"If I see your face again. You'll never see the sun again." Jimin warned the guys who is smirking at him. 

Taehyung was still shock at what he has witness, what's happening?  Girlfriend? He's his girlfriend? What is he talking about? He walks out of the scene with his jaw clenching. 

Out of all people. Why does it have to be his bestfriend?

Without excuses, Taehyung walks back to the dressing room with dark aura surrounding him.

They called the security and escorts the man to the police station. Their manager takes care of this accident. The guy was the ex of Jeongyeon when they were just trainees but they broke up even before Jeongyeon joins Sixteen. Jeongyeon explained that the guy told her he just wanted to talk to her, but he suddenly pulls her into that room and forcing her to have ... with him. 

"He was forcing you?" Jimin said in disbelief, he didn't know there's still predators out there lurking. 

Thankfully Jeongyeon wasn't traumatized about what happened. They continued preparing after that incident and handled it professionally. 3 hours before TMA, Jeongyeon calls her sister to tell what happened. Of course she scolded her again, but mostly she was just worried about her little sister.

"You're okay now Jeongyeon?" Nayeon asks Jeongyeon who is inhaling deeply.

"Yeah." 

"Hey Taehyung-ssi. Why didn't I see you there? Did you got lost?" Asked Jimin, who just got in their dressing room. Taehyung looks at him blankly and replied-

"I don't wanna bother you being a hero to your girlfriend." He sarcastically said as he fix his gray suit in front of the mirror.  Namjoon turns around and raise his eyebrows as he can feel the building tension between the two.

"What? Girlfriend?" Jimin confused, asks Taehyung. Taehyung didn't replied but instead he ignores him and rolls his eyes secretly as he walks back to his seat.

"Should I stay away from your girlfriend too?" Taehyung said looking at Jimin's eyes with no emotion. He doesn't wanna shows he's mad but he couldn't help it. Jimin understands what Taehyung was trying to say.

"Wait.. No.. You misunderstood it." Jimin walks towards him and was about to tap his shoulder but he dodges it.

"Yeah. I misunderstood it." Taehyung looks at him with a smile on his face. Jimin knows he's being sarcastic.

"What I said was 'Girl' space 'Friend'. Not 'Girlfriend' you're thinking of." Jimin explained and emphasize the word 'space' , but Taehyung ignores him and walks out of the dressing room to go to the CR.

Jimin wanted to follow him but Namjoon calls him to dress up or else they'll be late. He had no choice but to follow Namjoon.

At the event, Taehyung was ignoring Jimin. Jimin was pretty mad because why can't he understand his side? It wasn't intentional and it was just misunderstanding. The other members were feeling that something bad happened so they didn't bother to ask, If Taehyung's mad at his bestfriend-- It's a serious matter.

TWICE was just behind them and Taehyung was holding himself no to look at her.. but he always failing to do so. 

Meanwhile, Jeongyeon wasn't aware of what happened to the two. She just laugh and smiled all the time so the fans wouldn't know something happened. When BTS get to the stage to receive their award:

"Taehyung don't frown." Namjoon said without moving his lips. Taehyung tries his best not to frown, forcing himself to smile and laugh because there was a lot of cameras pointed at them.

After TMA, Dahyun, Tzuyu, Jihyo, Momo, and Mina goes back to their dorm while the others goes home to their own condo. Jeongyeon decided to sleep at Seungyeon's home since she's tired

"Oh? Why are you here?" Seungyeon happily greeted exhausted Jeongyeon that just came back from a bad- unfortunate- day.

"I'm so exhausteddd." Jeongyeon shouted as she lay down the couch and close her eyes. 

"Yah. Don't you have schedule tomorrow?" Seungyeon taps Jeongyeon's forehead. 

"I don't want to think about it." Jeongyeon said with her eyes closed. Seungyeon opens a bottle of soju that made jeongyeon open her eyes and ask for one.

"No. You have schedule tomorrow." Seungyeon said and drinks her soju directly into the bottle. Jeongyeon sighs and gets her own without Seungyeon noticing. Jeongyeon secretly drinks her soju in the corner of Kitchen room.

"Tsk. Jeongyeon, you really are hard headed." Seungyeon said rolling her eyes at her little sister smiling at her.

"Whom else did I inherit this?" Jeongyeon teased.

"Eomma." Seungyeon said that made her laugh.

Seungyeon shakes her head and cheers her bottle with Jeongyeon's. As they tease each other, Seungyeon asks something that Jeongyeon never thought her sister would ask.

"Why did you guys break up?" Jeongyeon looks at her sister for a minute, didn't know what to answer. That time, she was just determined to let go of the weight inside her head.

"I.. got tired." Jeongyeon answered but that didn't satisfy Seungyeon.

"That's all?" Seungyeon asked, that made Jeongyeon think deeply. She gave up because she got tired..  She thought how shallow her reason was for breaking up with him.

"Yeah.. I got tired of him always being jealous and mad at everything." She reasoned, drinking the soju bottle she didn't notice a tear falling off her eyes.

"You know what unnie..." Jeongyeon bits her bottom lips. This is the right time to let go of her feelings, because instead of moving on she was slowly falling down.

"When I was saying the words... I saw right in his eyes." Jeongyeon said, with her eyes shaking. Thinking about his face makes her emotional.

"I saw how I break Taehyung's heart." She said remembering that night.

"I heard his pain." She said. 

She never left his place. She stayed and heard all of his scream, cries and his pain. She was there all through out the time. She covered her mouth so he can't hear her sobs, because if he opens the door that time. She would willingly come back for him and love him more. 

"I was a coward for giving up-" Jeongyeon said smiling. Seungyeon was just staring and listening at her sister. She knows Jeongyeon is still madly in love with Taehyung, because every time she mentions his name her eyes would sparkle.

"-but it happened. I can't pull back the time." Jeongyeon wipes her tears with her shirt and turn to her sister.

"I guess that's the end for me and him."
