2 months later

Milluki received a call from Killua asking about a rare game called Greed Island. It is quite unexpected that his younger brother knows about the game.

"So, you're looking for Greed Island?" said Milluki with his mouthful of chips. "Give up, even I can't find it."

Not to be discouraging, but every word that came out of him were true. Greed Island was released, but after its initial sale, the game disappeared from the market for some reason. Making it extremely difficult to own one, let alone play it.

However, upon further research, the game is obtainable since they were sold at auctions.

But Killua doesn't need to know that. Not for free at least.

"How about in exchange for a saved data of Greed Island?"

Killua's words caught Milluki's attention.

According to him, he was able to get his hands on the saved data through some connections. And Killua too, suggested that if Milluki could examine the data, he would most probably be able to produce the game itself.

Of course, Milluki could do that. He's a computer genius after all. But the problem is, his younger brother's words seem skeptical although Killua has denied lying to him.

Milluki admits defeat. If Killua were really lying to him in order to have clues about the game, it wouldn't be a piece of cake to really obtain Green Island. And if he's not lying, Killua would still be having difficulty getting the game as well.

It's a win-win situation for Milluki.

He doesn't really care about obtaining the saved data of the game, although it sounded fun. Think of it as a side hobby to earn big money from duplicating the game. But seeing his perfect brother failed would be even better.

And what if... Milluki himself got his hands on the real Greed Island game instead?

The black-haired boy smirks inwardly.

Nevertheless, he told Killua everything regarding locating the Greed Island game.

"You know about the auction in Yorknew?"

🚩

Right now, there's no way Gon and Killua could ever get their hands on the Greed Island game unless they both attend the auction as sellers.

According to the Hunter Website, they learned more about the context of the game.

1. The game was made by Nen users for Nen users, who would be transported elsewhere when they start playing.

2. 14 copies of the game will be auctioned in Yorknew.

It was exactly what Milluki has told Killua in exchange for the game's memory card. But when Gon and Killua found out that the game was being sold in auction for at least 8 billion, They try to raise money by buying precious loot, but disagreements lead them to turn it into a competition.

By August 31st, Gon has raised more money than Killua. But their combined funds are nowhere near enough to buy a copy.

They head to Yorknew instead. They had already expected to meet their other two friends, Leorio and Kurapika there. It was part of their plan anyway.

Kurapika Kurta might have a whole different plan when he decided to head down to Yorknew. Of course, there is. The Class-A gang of thieves will be making an appearance there according to the information given by Hisoka.

And just like Gon, Kurapika passed the Secret Hunter Exam and successfully gotten himself a job as a bodyguard for a customer who has strong connections with the auction in Yorknew City.

This way, the probability of him coming across the Phantom Troupe there would be high. And it will be easy for him to execute his revenge upon each and every one of them.

Other than that, Kurapika specifically chooses a customer that loves collecting body parts. The Kurta eyes would surely be in the auction too and this way, he could at least get his hands on one of his fallen clansmen.

Those were Kurapika's plans all along.

But right now, none of his friends need to get involved. It's his personal conflict, to begin with...

On September 1st, each side has something to attend to. Kurapika would be guarding his boss, Neon Nostrade, the daughter of the Nostrade Clan's leader to the Mafia Community's Underground Auction.

While Leorio, whom Gon and Killua had met the day before suggested that they would earn money by having people challenging Gon into an arm-wrestling competition with a diamond as a winning prize.

For the next few days, all of them would be experiencing increasingly chaotic turbulence of events.

It's inevitable.
