tetsurou's pov -
we sat there talking for about ten minuets just admiring the view of the ocean late at night. this felt like a movie just simply sitting here listening to the waves crash against the shore and lightly receding back.
"you look beautiful/handsome tonight" i said to then, getting lost in their eyes.
"well, you look very handsome tonight" they said back giving me a kiss on the cheek.
y/n rested their head on my shoulder, shortly they pulled away and i felt the time was right.
"i love you" i said barely above a whisper but loud enough to where y/n could hear.
it seemed that they were taken aback by my words and i started to feel instant regret. maybe i had said it too soon. i did love them though, i was positive of it.

"i love you" he said quietly while our heads rested against each other.
i was stunned. i didn't know what to do. his eyes searched my face for a reaction and i'm pretty sure he was just as surprised as me that he had told me those three words.
"look, i- i know that we have never said something like that to eachother and everything but tonight just-" he rambled
"tetsu" i tried stopping him.
"tonight has made me realize all of the little things make me fall in love even more and i know you might not be at that point yet but-" he played with his hands while looking down at them.
"tetsurou! look at me" i put my hands on the side of his face. "i love you too"
a giant smile grew on his face as he pulled me into another hug and a kiss on my forehead.
"you love me even though i'm a nerd" he questioned making the cutest face i'd ever seen.
"of course i do. in fact, i think the fact that your smart is even more attractive. and your silly pick up lines are always so corny, you even have to explain then to me sometimes. but even so, i can't help but fall for you." i rested my head on his shoulder once again.
"well i'm glad i can be the one you ended up falling for." he grabbed my hand and rubbed my knuckles with his thumb as we looked off into the ocean.
