Y/n's POV:

It was Christmas Eve, Jakobs family and I were all snuggled on the couch watching How The Grinch Stole Christmas. I was sitting next to Jakob with his arm around my shoulder and my head on his chest. This was my first holiday with Jakobs family, I was super nervous to be around his family for longer than just a day, especially in their own home. After three days I realized I was just being over dramatic, his family had been loving and great.

Jakob seemed to notice that I had zoned out and tapped me asking if I was alright. I said yeah and was just thinking about how over dramatic I had been about being scared of coming to Florida to spend Christmas with his family. He laughed and said "My family absolutely adores you, you have nothing to worry about" he then kissed the tip of my nose.

"I know but it's always scary staying with your boyfriend's family for the first time" I said looking up at him.

"I know but hey we are both having fun my family loves you there is nothing to worry about" He said, I smiled and gave him a quick peck.

After the movie his parents said they were gonna go to bed and they would see us in the morning. Jakob and I decided to go upstairs and go to bed. I took off my makeup and brushed my teeth and did my whole face routine.

"Babbbbyyyyy are you almost done" Jakob whined, wanting to go to bed.

"Yes I have three more steps"

"That's too many" he said rolling on his side, staring at me.

After my last three steps and more complaining I finally went to bed with him.

"Goodnight I love you" He said kissing my forehead

"I love you too," I said, kissing him and snuggling closer, putting my head on his chest.

The next morning

All of us were around the Christmas tree talking after finishing all the presents Jakob ran upstairs saying he had one more gift for me. To be honest I was a little nervous. I was talking to his mom when he walked up in front of me and got down on one knee.

"I have loved you since the moment I saw you at the coffee shop. For these past four years I have wanted to propose to you, but realized it might have been too soon. You're my soulmate and I can't imagine my life without you in it so Y/FN will you marry me?" He said smiling up at me.

"YES YES I WILL'' I said leaning down and kissing him tears streaming down my face. He put the ring on my finger and his mom started taking pictures.

"I love you" We both said in unison and kissed.

It was the best christmas ever.
