Chapter 1: Plans & Games.

{A/N: it goes along the actual plot, but it changes when Kokichi and Kaito meet up to talk about the plan. Which is this chapter. I haven't gotten this far in the game yet tho, so I'm kinda just making my own shit up. Also, Shuichi can hear and see his dead classmates.}

{Kokichi Oma's Pov}

"Do you understand the plan now, Kaito?" I asked the taller purple haired male infront of me as he stood there clearly still confused.

"Yeah, but why kill yourself?" He questioned.

"Ugh! To make the perfect unsolvable murder, you idiot!" I groaned.

"Alright. Sounds like a good plan then!" He practically shouted.

I face palmed then shook my head from side to side at his idiotic ways.

"Alright, I'll come to you when we should put this plan into action." I sighed.

"Alright, cya then." And with that, he turned and left the room.

"In the meantime, I should probably make a video for Saihara-chan..." I muttered as I walked over to the camera I had set up before me and Kaito's meeting.

{Maki Harukawa's Pov}

I stood by the door and listened in on Kokichi and Kaito's meeting. There's no way that's how the plan will actually go, knowing how Kokichi is. He'll probably say that's how its gonna go then he'll switch it around and kill him! I'll have to keep a close eye on Kokichi then intervene when they go to meet up again...

{Shuichi Saihara's Pov}

"See? It's maaagic." Himiko said as she pulled the rings, showing me that they were all connected.

"Wow, that was really cool Himiko!" Tsumugi said, clearly astonished by Himiko's 'magic'.

"Ah, uh, yeah..that was really neat." I muttered.

"You've gotta sound more chipper then that!!" A loud, boisterous voice called out from behind me. I turned around and looked at the person who said that.

"Hey Kaito."

He threw his arm around my shoulders, "Hey Shuichi! How's my sidekick doing?"

"Ahh! Uhmm..I'm doing fine, Kaito.." I muttered as I lowered my head, trying to hide my face as much as possible.

"Heh, alright bro!" He walked off.

Something seemed off about Kaito...

I brushed it aside, and decided not to think too much about it.

"Shuichi, you should check on Kokichi..."

I could hear Kaede's voice say to me. I glanced around then saw her standing..err..floating beside me.

I gave her a slight nod, "uhmm..I'll cya guys later.." I said.

"Aww..but i have more magic I wanted to show you..." she sounded disappointed...

But I had to go. Kaede always does this as warning about someone.

"I know, and I'm sorry...but maybe later? I just remembered I have to do something.." I made up a poor excuse, but she took it. However, Tsumugi didn't seem convinced...

"Nyehh..okay..."

I gave them awkward and rushed apologies before leaving them. I could see Kaede's ghost showing me the way.

"I'm certain he'll be around here somewhere..."

As if on cue, Kokichi turned the corner with his hands behind his head. I'd come to realize that it was his usual walk when he's just done something. This can't be good...

"H-Hey Kokichi.." I greeted him with a small wave of my hand.

He looked at me and quickly smiled as his eyes lit up.

"Oh hey Shumai! How's my favorite emo?!~"

"Ehhh..." I lowered my head in embarrassment and looked away. "I-I'm fine..also, I'm not e-emo.."

"Nee-Heehee! Sure!"

"What are you even doing..?" I asked with a slight sigh.

"Just walkin around!" An obvious lie.

I looked at him the crossed my arms.

"Oh really?"

"Yah? What, I can't walk around anymore?" He chuckled.

"Never said that..."

He walked closer to me and stared at me.

"I know you're hiding something yourself, Mr. Detective."

I backed up at the sudden closeness.

"H-Huh?!"

"You're seriously gonna act like you don't know?"

"Kn-Know what?!"

He backed up at bit and laughed.

"Wh-What's so funny?!"

"He's just trying to mess with you..."

I sighed.

"Your conscience must be super guilty for you to react like that!"

"Kokichi, enough. We both know you're the one whose hiding something."

"Haha! Me?! Hiding something from the super attractive detective?! Hahahaha, you're joking!"

I covered my face with my hand to cover up the slight blush his words had given me.

"C-Can you stop lying? This is serious..."

He groaned as he dropped his arms, letting them fall by his sides.

"Ok. So what if I'm hiding something? You'll never know until it's too late, anyways." I could tell he was fed up.

"Kokichi.."

"Why do you even wanna know?"

"Because I'm concerned."

"Oh really.? Is that it.?"

I looked away, not sure of what to say next..
