What is stopping us?

A small kiss?

I tricked meera into thinking that I was leaving but I ended up stalking her which now sounds weird....

she saw that I didn't take my car so that definitely made her suspicious about me. The only thing I'm hoping for right now is that she doesn't take it or else imma have to go walking. I guess today is my unlucky day because she did take it.

I finally got to work 3 hours later! Thank you meera for taking my car. I got into work and saw that there was a meeting.  I sat down. "Hey Maya did I miss something?" She looked worried. "No you didn't miss anything at all we were just talking about how Sarte is going bankrupt..." "what?!? Are you serious?"  "Of course I'm serious why would I lie about?" Shit. The only thing that was left to happen.

"Wait Rahul I- I mean raj don't you uh..."

"what happened Maya?"

" never mind I feel embarrassed for what I'm about to ask you so it's nothing."

"What do you mean it's nothing? Come on tell me."

"Well do you think you can help me try to save Sarte?"

"Try to save it like in what way?"

"Like help me raise the money. I know it's a stupid idea so imma just go"

"What no!" I accidentally holded her arm but she seems so desperate to save this company and I like that. " don't worry Maya I would help you just tell me where and how we can do this."
I saw that a big beautiful smile grew on her face.  I couldn't help but smile back remembering the beautiful memories Maya and I had.

"Why don't you meet me at my house today at 7:00 pm?"

"Can it be earlier because Meera waits for me and I have to be at home by-"

"Please Rahul?"

She looked so concerned and her eyes seemed as if she was trying hard not to shred into tears. "Uh sure why not?"

Suddenly I got a message from meera. "Please excuse me." I went to my desk and Meera sent a scared emoji. I can't with her. I was smiling so hard it sees as if my mouth was about break. I can tell she's embarrassed and scared to talk to me because of what happened today in the morning. I ended up checking her location and it didn't show that she was at school... but if she's not at school then where could she be? I got my jacket and rubbed towards the exit.

"Umm hey raj can you help me with something in the office?"

"Sorry Maya but I don't have time" I tried to push her out of my way but she still standing there like a frozen pole that can't move.

"Please Raj it's urgent."

"Ok fine but it better be quick."

"Mhm don't worry it'll be quick."

She took me to the office and we were the only people here. "Maya what is the urgency that you made me come here for?!?"

"Well I just wanted to ask you if you like this dress."

I wasn't paying attention Until I turned and looked at her. It was a blue and white sari. She looked beautiful in it. It reminded me of her wedding dress..

"Sooo? Do u like it?"

" oh right sorry i got caught off guard, but yeah it looks nice you look beautiful..." I saw that a small blush formed in her face.

"Thank you Rahul.."

We spent some time just staring at each other with full on silence. It wasn't an awkward type of silence but instead it was a comfortable silence. I was  seeing her when I remembered. "MEERA!" Shut I forgot about her. I started getting all my stuff.

"Rahul where are you going?!?"

"I'm sorry Maya but I really have to go. But don't worry we would see each other later." I looked at her and gave her a small kiss on her cheek.

I got in my car and followed her gps. " i swear if Meera is with that guy I'm seriously gonna punch him and maybe even her.!"
