Seungmin: Lixie! They're puppies!

Felix turns around and runs to me with wide eyes.

Felix: Really? Bitch, I want one!

He takes the black puppy from my arms and looks at it with a wide smile.

Felix: This is so fucking cute!

I put my hand over his mouth.

Seungmin: We shall not use profane verbs in the presence of young organisms.

I say in an attempt at a deep voice.

Felix rolls his eyes and goes back to drooling over his puppy.

I look around for any signs of an owner and my eyes land on the collars around the dogs' necks.

I lean to take a closer look and laugh once I see the names.

Seungmin: Lixie, guess what this puppy's name is?

Felix looks at me curiously.

Seungmin: It's Hyunjin!

He freezes for a moment and then looks at the collar of his puppy for a name.

He starts laughing all of a sudden, leaving me curious about what his puppy's name is.

Felix: This one's name is... Changbin!

I start laughing as well once I hear what he says.

Felix: I guess their past owner was a fan, too.

Seungmin: But that's so cute. Naming your puppies after your idols.

He nods, wiping the tears that appeared from laughing too much.

I inspect the collar for more details but find none.

Seungmin: Maybe we should stick around for a bit to see if someone will show up...

Felix nods and sits down on the bench with the puppy in his lap.

I do the same, giggling when the puppy licks my finger from time to time.

We wait for a while, but no one shows up.

Felix sighs and gets up, the puppy still in his hands.

Felix: I don't think anyone is gonna come, let's go.

I nod and get up, careful not to drop the puppy.

Seungmin: What should we do with them?

Felix thinks for a while, then looks at me with a sad face.

Felix: I think we should turn them in...

I open my mouth in protest, but nothing comes to mind.

He's right...

Seungmin: You're right, but we can just keep them for tonight and turn them in tomorrow?

Felix: Sure, one night with these cuties won't hurt.

I take my coat off and wrap it around the puppy so it won't get cold.

Seungmin: Let's go.

Felix nods and starts running towards our apartment.

Seungmin: Lixie be careful! You're holding a puppy!

I laugh and run after him, completely forgetting that I'm holding a puppy as well.
