Felix: I mean... can't we just keep them?

I furrow my eyebrows and look at him in confusion.

Seungmin: Just a minute ago you looked like you wanted to fry and eat the thing, now you want to keep it?

He scratches his neck nervously.

Felix: We kind of had a bonding moment last night, you know? I felt like he was a real person, actually comforting me. I need that...

I nod my head understandingly.

Seungmin: Fine, but we'll have to head over to Jisung's place and learn how to care for puppies first.

He nods and runs to the closet.

He takes out a pair of shoes and puts them on.

Felix: Let's go!

I look at him with a blank face.

Seungmin: Lixie, did you forget it's still 4 am?

Felix: Oh... right. I knew that.

He takes his shoes off and walks to my bed.

Felix: Soooo, wanna binge some Hyunjin and Changbin crack videos?

I look at him with a wide smile.

Seungmin: Of course!

I pull my laptop out from under the bed and open it up.

I enter the password and open up youtube.

Felix takes the laptop and starts typing something into the search bar while I pull the blankets over Felix, the puppies, and me.

The videos start playing and we immediately look at our idols with heart eyes.

The puppies look at us and the screen and start barking as if they're laughing at us.

Weird...

Seungmin: Hyunjin is so good at dancing. It's like his body just flows with the music!

My puppy licks my face in agreement.

Felix: Changbin's rap is so good. Just thinking about how his tongue technology would work inside my mouth makes me want to-

Seungmin: Lixie! Let's keep this PG, please.

Felix's dog climbs onto his head and starts messing with his hair.

Felix: Ah! Binnie, why are you acting like I was talking to you?

I giggle as Felix tries to pry the little puppy off his head.

Seungmin: So cute!

I'm so happy these puppies came into my life. Everything feels so much better with them around.
