(Night time Velvet's pov)
Me and Minuet were the only trolls buddies that haven't separated to do their own thing.
"Why aren't they together?" Minuet asked me and I just shrugged.
Poppy then ran up to us.
"Thank goodness at least one pair stayed together." She sighed in relief.
"Why aren't the pairs together?" Me and Minuet asked in sync.
"Jinks! Double jinks! Triple jinks! Infinity jinks!" We kept on saying at the same time until Poppy stopped us.
"Looks like the two of you have become good friends."
"Great friends!" Minuet said.
"Best friends!" I added. "Anyway why aren't they together?" I asked remembering what was going on.
"I have no idea, let's ask. Everyone huddle up!" She ordered.
(At the big mushroom)
Poppy, Branch, me and Minuet were in front of everyone.
"Guys, what happened?" Poppy asked.
"The whole point of Trollstopia is that the tribes live together." I added.
"Excellent deduction bestie!" Minuet said as she patted me on the back.
"Thank you bestie!"
"See, Velvet and Minuet are sticking together and having fun! Why aren't you?" Poppy asked.
Holly decided to speak up. "Well, we tried that Poppy but the fact is we're all pretty darn different."
"Yes,very different." Biggie agreed.
Biggie and Val's Flashback
Biggie was putting Mr Dinkles in a cot.
"Ready for your nap time lullaby Mr Dinkles?" Biggie asked the worm.
Biggie: Twinkle, twinkle
Glitter star
But then Val started playing the guitar so loudly that it sent Biggie and Mr Dinkles flying.
Val: How I wonder
What you aaaare!
"Sweet dreams." She said casually.
Cooper and Dante's flashback
Dante was playing the violin when Cooper walked up to him while holding a cupcake.
"Cupcake roomie?"
"Ah thank you." Dante thanked as he took the cupcake.
"Anytime." Cooper then popped a cupcake and Dante gasped in horror.
End of flashbacks
"We all agreed that new friends don't always make the easiest roommates." Lownote said.
"Yeah, so we all went back to spending time with our old friends where we're all more comfortable." Smidge added.
"No, you can't give up so easily. You've barely gave yourselves a chance to bond. And maybe I can help with that." Poppy suggested.
She then turned to me and Minuet. "By the way guys there's gonna be a Puppy Parade so get ready." With that she ran off and me and Minuet squealed all the way back to my place out of excitement.
(Morning)
Poppy suggested that we should do friend fall to try to get the other buddies to form the bond that me and Minuet have. Speaking of me and Minuet, she had us demonstrate. Minuet was gonna fall while I had to catch her.
"Ready?" I called up to her.
"Ready!" She confirmed and fell.
I used my hair as a platform for her to land on and, thank goodness, it worked. So we gave each other a high-five.
"See, that's bonding! Who wants to try?" Poppy asked.
It was Guy and Synth next. Guy was gonna fall and Synth had to catch him.
"Are you ready to catch the great glory that is Guy Diamond?" Guy asked which caused me to face-palm.
"Bro, you shine like a glow stick. I can stare at you for hours." Synth replied which caused me to giggle.
"Gut Diamond." Guy sang in auto tune as he fell.
But then a glowing butterfly flew in front of Synth.
"Bro, shine like a glow stick I can stare at you for hours." He said to it and followed it which caused Guy to fall flat on his back.
Me and Minuet face-palmed and groaned.
Val and Biggie were next.
"Whatever." Val scoffed while on top of the mushroom. "I do stage dives higher than this with my band. Rock and Roll forever!" She yelled as she jumped.
The jump was successful and Biggie caught her, thank goodness. Then we heard a voice yell. "Incoming!" That's when we saw three ROCK trolls jump off the mushroom.
"Who are they?" Biggie asked.
"My band." Val answered simply.
They all then landed on Biggie.
Finally it was Dante and Cooper.
"Okay, Dante all you have to do is trust Cooper." Minuet said as she flew beside him.
"Can you do that?" Poppy asked.
"Can I? It shall be a trusting for the ages." Dante declared as he fell. But he stopped at the last minute.
"No!" He shrieked. "This is terrifying. Draw the curtains. I'm done!" He said as he flew off.
"That's probably for the best. I was not paying attention when you explained this exercise." Cooper chuckled and walked off. He was soon followed by the everyone else.
"This was a..." Minuet started to say.
"Complete disaster." I finished.
"Precisely." She groaned.
