Rebel With a Cause

Studio Time

We finished up the night talking about how the weekend was going to go in the studio. I was so excited for so many reasons. 

We finally finished our drinks and Zach took me home. I ran up the stairs and go into the apartment. The girls were still all awake and watching a movie. I decided to take an advil and have a glass of water before I went to bed. We were gonna have a long and early day tomorrow. I jumped on the couch and snuggled in next to Penny. She put her arm around me.

"So you was your lover boy?" She asked and Cherry paused the movie. I'm glad most of the lights were off. I knew my face was as red as a Cherry's hair. 

"Good, just hung out talked about getting into the studio tomorrow. Are you guys ready? We probably should get to bed soon. We gotta get up early and load the SUV." I said and sat up and finished my water. 

"Oh no, you stiffed us last time your giving details this time." Cherry said and moved to be closer to me. I rolled my eyes and then realized that she couldn't see. 

"Okay, just don't make a big deal about it tomorrow! He asked me out on a date." I was more excited just saying it to them.

Cherry just stared at me, Kira and Penny squeeled a little bit.

"Thats it? A date, I mean what have the last two times you guys went out called?" Cherry seemed a little bit disappointed. I just laughed knowing she wanted more of a X rated story.

"I mean we gotta get to know each other first, right?" I said and Kira agreed with me. 

Cherry made a exasperated noise.

"I mean I guess but damn come one you guys are both hot, I wanna hear the hot stuff." She said and went back to her spot on the couch. Penny gave me a kiss on the top of my head. 

"Girl you're worth it make him wait." She said and I hugged her back and went to my room to get ready for bed.

I woke up the next morning to Cherry jumping on my bed. 

"Today's the day lets go get up lazy bones!!" She said and started hitting me with another pillow on my bed. 

I groaned and then started laughing. I sat up and grabbed my pillow and started hitting back. Kira came and leaned in the door way and laughed at us. 

"Come on you two, we're not loading all this gear by ourselves. 

Cherry jumped off of my bed and I shot up. I threw on some shorts and a tank top and then threw a cap on backwards. I didn't want to get done up if I was just going to sweat behind a drum kit all day. 

Penny handed me a cup of coffee and I took a big swig. I went off to our spare bedroom and started taking my kit apart and Kira helped me load it in to the SUV. 

We got everything done and sat at the kitchen table and finished another cup of coffee. My whole body was humming with excitement. I loved being able to get behind the kit and get a chance to record new music. 

"Are you guys ready for this!?!" Kira asked and downed the rest of her coffee. 

"Hell yeah!" Cherry said putting her mug in the sink. She went and grabbed her bookbag and started filling it full of different drinks and things that would help her get her vocals ready for today. 

Penny winked at me and went to put her mug in the sink and I followed suit. I went to grab my bag also. I checked to make sure my laptop and charger were in there. Cherry threw a bottle of tequila into my bag. I just laughed. As we all got out the door I felt my phone buzz. I quickly pulled it out to check who it was. I instantly smiled and Kira must have noticed.
