Rebel With a Cause

Studio Time part 2

The day went pretty smooth. Kira, Penny, and I kept taking shots of the tequila as we finished our bits of recording. Cherry didn't like to drink when she was recording plus she had to drive home. So she stayed away from the bottle. We were finally finishing up for the day. Penny and I were drunkenly dancing together and she went to spin me and I accidently bumped into someone. 

"Oh geez I'm sorry," I said in a slurred voice and when I went to look up it was Zach. He just smiled at me.

"You guys have a pretty wild time in the studio don't you?" He said and grinned and nodded. 

"You know its just like Cyndi Lauper said, Girls just wanna have fun." I said as I put my hand on his chest to stable my self. There was a moment when we were both just looking at each other. I finally gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. 

"What was that for?" He asked grinning. 

"To say thank you for all of this, it means a lot to us to have someone believe in us." 

He looked down at me and his face went a little serious. 

"Well now that I'm expecting it maybe you can thank me again." He said and he leaned down to give me a kiss. 

Just then Cherry came back in hooping and hollering. 

Our moment was ruined. 

I peaked behind Zach and saw all the girls were hugging and excited. I put my finger on Zach's lips. 

"Maybe later," I said and winked and went over to celebrate with the girls. 

"Okay, I think that's enough for today. Let's go home, eat, and continue drinking!" Cherry said and we agreed. I looked back to Zach and looked back to the girls. 

"Hey, is it cool if he comes?" I asked everyone. 

They all looked at each other and then nodded in agreeance. 

"Hey boss man wanna come celebrate our first night with us?" Kira asked Zach and he perked up. 

"Yeah I'll defiantly celebrate with you all."

We packed our things up for the night. Luckily they let us keep our gear here for the time we were renting. As I went outside Zach offered to take me back to the apartment. Of course I agreed. This time I wrapped my arms around his waist. Partly to keep myself stable and just because after our near kiss I wanted to be closer to him. 

"Don't fall asleep on me back there." He said and shrugged his shoulders up and down to get my attention. I tightened my grip a bit.

"Don't worry about me," I said and tried my best to lay my head as close to him as possible with us both wearing full face helmets. 

The ride back was so serene. I missed riding so much and these last few days have just been the best. It made me want to get another bike of my own, but I had to get a car first. Salons don't usually like their stylists to have helmet hair on the floor. 

We beat the girls back to the apartment. Zach started to put his helmet on the bike.

"Just bring it up with you, I mean if you drink too much you just might have to stay the night." I said and tried to look as innocent as I could. 

"Oh, you're right I should be a responsible adult." He smiled and we went up to the apartment. I put the key in the door and stopped and turned around to Zach. 

I went up and gave him a quick kiss. I went to turn back around to the door and he grabbed the back of my head and turned me back around. He leaned down and gave me a kiss back.
