"Midori-bro! You gonna help?" Kirishima asks, as he tries to pull up a log for the Northern gate using a rope.
"Yep!" I say, walking over the end where Kirishima isn't and squat down, grabbing the log with both of my hands, and beginning to lift, using 20% of OFA. The log lifts, and Kirishima is finally able to pull it, as I begin to walk forward, pushing the log as Kirishima pulled.
"Almost..... there!" Kirishima grunts as the log begins to become vertical. I increase my grip on the log, slightly stripping some of the bark.
"Kirishima, stop pulling!" I shout, as I see the log begin to tip to far. After Kirishima stop, or at least, I think he did. I pull the log back to vertical, then shoot a thumbs up.
Quickly, a group of Ectoplasm clones quickly bolt the log to the others next to it, securing the log.
"Thanks!" I call to one of the clones, and he shoots me a thumbs up.
"God. I'm just glad that things went smoothly." Kirishima mutters as he looks at the now-completed gate. The final peace of construction we wanted to complete. Needed to, really.
"Yeah, I know how you feel. Things are at least......... better." I muse, as we begin to walk back to the center of camp.
"Boss! Boss!" Nejire says, landing in front of me in her hero costume, entirely soaked. Her normally fluffy hair in drenched, and laying again her back and head.
"What?" I ask, looking at her, a tad confused
"Oh. So, you know those hot springs? Ryukyu found something in there! It's some kind of blue glowy thing!" She says, and I raise an eyebrow
"Blue glowy thing?" I ask, and she nods.
"Yeah! Ryukyu found it while she was relaxing. I don't really know what it is, but she wants to show you!" Nejire says, and I sigh
"Alright. Kiri-bro, you're with me. Nejire, tell Endeavor where we're going, then catch up." I say, charging Full Cowl to 5%, to allow Kirishima to keep up.
We both take off towards the springs, which are roughly 2 clicks off. Me and Kirishima make it there in just over 7 minutes, and we search around the draconic hero.
"Midoriya. Kirishima." Ryuko says, as we look over at her. She's........ oh Lord, please fucking help me. She's really only half-dressed, wearing a black top and a towel around her waist, that only goes down to her mid-thigh. I manage to control my blush, somehow.
"So... what did you find?" I ask, and she points to a pool. Walking past her, with Kirishima on my hip, we look in the pool, and do indeed a blue, glowy thing. I jump into the pool, and reach to touch it, and I'm surprised to feel it's solid. I try to pick up, and I'm surprised at how heavy it is. It must weigh 100 pounds or more.
"Jeezus, this thing is heavy. I mutter, squatting down, and getting most of my shirt soaked. I manage to lift it out of the pool, and set it down on the edge, then hop out.
"But....... what is it?" Kirishima asks, as I get a better look at it. It's a blue orb about 2 feet across, glowing with a bright blue light, seemingly originating from the deep center of the orb.
"It doesn't seem natural, I can tell that much." Ryukyu says, tapping the orb
"We should probably get this back to our base before we do anything else." I mutter, tapping the thing.
"Boss!" Nejire says, landing next to us.
"This is the blue glowy thing. I say, tapping the orb.
