As I walk out of portal, the world around me spins, and I nearly drop to one knee. Saisho runs up to me, and climbs on my back, chittering.
"I WANNA KEEP HIM!" Hatusme shouts, running up to me. I stick an arm out, putting my hand on her forehead, stopping her in her tracks.
"No. He doesn't even like you." I say, looking at the pink-haired girl. Who, in the nearly two months I've been gone, has grown a bit taller.
"Oh, come on! It's an ancient creature, from over 60 million years ago! I wanna pet him!" She says, and I sigh
"He's still a wild animal, Hatsume." I say as Saisho cuddles against my neck.
"Well then, why does he like you?" She asks
"He still bites me from time to time. Usually when he's hungry." I reply, and Hatsume eyes widen
"He bites you?" She asks, and I shrug
"It's more like nibbling, but yeah." I reply, and she frowns
"But doesn't it hurt?" She asks
"I mean yeah. Not nearly as getting your hand bitten off, and having it regrow over two days." I say, gesturing to your right hand." I say, and her eyes widen
"YOU HAVE A SUPER-REGENERATION QUIRK?" She shouts, and I sigh
"Yes and no. It's not enough to stop lethal injuries on it's own, but anything non-lethal it can knock heal it in a few days." I say
"What else?" She asks, suddenly appearing with a notebook.
"I can turn into animal I eat. So...... basically Tamajiki, but the whole animal." I say, shrugging.
"Can you turn into Dinosaurs?" She asks, and I nod
"A few, yeah." I reply
"I NEED TESTS! TURN INTO ONE!" She shouts, and Shinso comes up and hooks his arms under her shoulders.
"Hatsume, come on. Leave the guy alone." Shinso says
"YOU LOVE DINOSAURS JUST AS MUCH AS ME! LET ME HAVE THIS!" She cries, as Shinso drags her away, much to my relief.
"Midoriya? You got a call." Power Loader says, tossing me a phone, which Saisho seems rather interested in. I stop him from chewing on the case, and hold the phone up to my ear
"Hello?" I ask, and a hear a familiar voice, crying
"I-....Izuku? Is that really you?" Mom asks, and I feel something roar through my system. I feel my eyes mist up.
"Yeah. It's.... it's me." I say, and she begins sobbing
"I..... I thought...... I thought I had lost you...." She says, and I feel my heart break
"I.....I'm sorry Mom. I wished this whole hadn't happened. I..... I know you had my funeral. I just.............. just wish that I could've gotten home sooner." I say, crying now, hot tears running down my face, as I try to rub the tears off of my face.
"Izuku." A voice behind me says. I turn around, and see Mom, standing behind me, holding her phone to her ear, tears pouring out of her eyes. She's a bit skinnier than I remember, and I see a few grey hairs appearing. I smile widely, dropping the phone, rushing forward, and as she slumps to the ground, pull her into a hug.
"I-I-I-Izuku.... y-you're..... you're back!" She cries, as I cry just as hard, tears pouring down my face
"I promise, Mom. I promise." I say, and we stay like that for a while, just happy to be back together. Then, almost predictably, Saisho gets bored, and clambers on my mom, resting around her neck
