Chapter 8: Possibilities

Katniss POV(from now on): 

I can't believe someone would threaten me. I know I should probably tell someone but what if its just some stupid kid playing a prank on me. Then again, what if this becomes real serious. I don't know what to do! I can't tell Peeta or even anyone else, especially Glimmer! I know she would go to her parents. That may just make things even worse. I'll just ignore it. It'll probably go away either tonight or later in the week. Hopefully. 

"Kat! Come on you're gonna miss the movie!" Hollers Glimmer.

"What? I thought everyone was gonna go back asleep?" I say casually with a confused look on my face while putting my phone in my pocket. 

"We figured since you can't sleep we should watch a movie to get your mind off of whatever your nightmare was about." Johanna asks.

"Oh. That's sweet of you guys but you don't have to." However, before I can tell everyone that it was nothing Peeta jumps in and said since I'm on my phone and not going back to bed we should all watch a movie together.

"Just had to text some people back... no biggy!" I continue smoothly. I'm a pretty good liar which I never even noticed. 

We begin to watch the movie and I turn my brightness down so no one can read my screen. Peeta has his arm wrapped around me which helps me feel safe. I re-read the text over and over.... Who do I know that would do this?

Okay Kat, think of all of the people with an E in their Name: Peeta. Nah. I trust he would never do this to me. He loves me. 

Glimmer. Okay first of all she is a sister to me! She wouldn't do this especially because shes not a mean person. Plus, she has the room next to mine, if she really did want to hurt me she wouldn't just send me some stupid text.

Clove? Well I don't know anymore. I mean I just met her and I can't imagining her wanting to threaten or kill her best friend's cousin. Woah woah woah Katniss back up. You don't know weather or not this person wants to kill you. It could always just be a cruel little joke. 

I fall asleep in Peeta's arms and I feel as safe as I've ever been. I can't believe I have him. He's mine. And I couldn't be more relieved. I have no more nightmares but that doesn't make me go into a deep sleep for the rest of the night. Thanks for that text, I'm a very light sleeper tonight, or I guess this morning. That text jumps around in my mind the entire night, but I guess thats how concience I am about it. 

It's finally 6:30 in the morning when I wake up from my extreme light sleep. I go into the kitchen to grab some coffee when my phone buzzes and I look on my phone and the ID reads: Blocked ID
