Soreness covered every inch of Charlie's body as her eyes slowly opened to be greeted by a bright light shining down on her. After her vision adjusted to the unwanted glow, a long breath passed over her lips and she lifted her head up to take in her surroundings. Fear filled every inch of her when she found herself in an unfamiliar room before she sat up so fast her head spun. Once she regained her bearings, Charlie pulled the tubes out of her arms and rushed the door while mentally preparing herself for whatever fight was on the other side.
Just as her hand reached for the knob, it quickly opened before Charlie made eye contact with the person on the other side. The two of them stared at each other for a long moment before the Barton girl felt the walls that she'd been building completely shattered. It wasn't long after that when the Maximoff boy pulled the girl in front of him into a tight embrace, causing the Barton girl to melt into his arms.
"Hey, anđeo," Pietro whispered as he tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, "glad to see you're finally awake."
"Where are we?" Charlie questioned before breaking their embrace while keeping her hands interlocked with his, "this is way too technologically advanced for any of the Avengers' facilities...and that's saying a lot."
"We're in...some country that starts with a 'w' that I still can't pronounce," the speedster told her, making the archer think back to the boat graveyard they went to back when they were dealing with Ultron. However, her train of thought was soon derailed when the Maximoff boy gently squeezed her fingers. "Come on. I'm sure everyone wants to see you."
Before she could respond to the platinum-haired boy, his grip on her hand tightened and he dragged her through the white halls of the unfamiliar building. Charlie's eyes wandered to every open door they passed and she was able to get a quick glance at the technology that she'd never seen before. If it wasn't for Pietro pulling her or the thought of seeing everyone again, the Barton girl would explore every inch of that place to see what other treasures filled the rooms.
After staring at a machine that looked like something out of a video game, the pair came to a stop in front of the only closed-door Charlie had seen in the entire building. It didn't take long for Pietro to push it open and force her to enter with him. Once they were inside, the archer's eyes landed on a doctor looking over Bucky as Steve stood nearby with his arms crossed over his chest. Her attention then traveled to her father sitting in a chair on the other side of the room with a blank expression on his face.
