Confused|Luna Lovegood Fanfiction

I lugged my large case onto the train as my father waved me goodbye just as everyone else's parents were. I squeezed through the small isle and took a seat in an empty compartment just as I had done last year. A few minutes passed as I watched fewer and fewer people board the train and all of a sudden I heard a boys voice. I turned my head to him and saw a plump little boy with a mop of dark brown hair on his head. He was looking at the ground, his face pale as he stuttered "h-hi I'm Neville, N-Neville Longbottom." She could tell he was nervous. "I'm Edie (EE-DEE), Edie Black." She said gently and he looked up like he was a bit more comfortable now. "Would you like to sit with me?" Edie asked. "Um.. yea I guess. Can my friends come to?" He said a bit more confident this time. Edie gulped wanting to be alone but said "Sure!" putting on a fake smile.
Then to other girls walked in, one with long blonde, almost silver, hair and another with chest length flaming red hair. They both sat down across from her and Neville took the seat next to her. Edie soon learned the blonde one was Luna Lovegood and the red head was Ginny Weasley. Suddenly Luna said "We never got your name." Her tone was soft and British unlike Edie's very American accent as her and her father stayed in America. "Oh sorry. I'm Edie, Edie Black." both of the girls smiled and said "You're Sirius' daughter." in an almost demanding tone rather than a question. "Yes that's me." she said kind of annoyed that they brought it up. "We heard about you last year we just never really approached you." Luna said in her dreamy voice looking at the ceiling. "So what's it like having a Gryffindor father? y'know being a Hufflepuff and all." Edie gulped. She was hoping they didn't bring this up but they did. "It's normal I guess... he's just happy I'm not in Slytherin but I don't know what everyone has against it." she said trying to hide her anger. Ginny responded "Only dark wizards come out of that house, everyone in it is a stuck-up, rich, pure blood." firmly. "Oh." Edie said knowing that was not fully true and rolling her eyes slightly enough for them not to see.
After a few minutes they were all changed into their robes and the rest of the ride was complete silence as they watched the scenery change from rolling fields of nothing to the beautiful dark silhouette of the Hogwarts castle. As they entered the castle and took their seats, Luna at Ravenclaw, Ginny and Neville at Gryffindor, and Edie at Hufflepuff.
