the next day Annie went to go look for pixie to try and talk to her
peter told her everything would be okay but Annie was worried she will not speak to her.
she found pixie near a river sulking
hey
what do you want? asked pixie bitterly.
look Annie finally said I'm so sorry about yesterday,you see I wanted to tell you in the beginning but I was afraid.
why?
because if I told you i was afraid you would not like me anymore and I understand that you and I don't want to be friends.
Annie pixie sighed I understand now why you never told me but next time just try and explain something to me alright?
yes
lets be best friends she finally said
then she and Annie hugged.
later that Annie told peter she and pixie were friends again.
I told you it would work out he said
and you were right she said
the only thing that worried Annie was if her family was worried about her or maybe they have forgotten her.
she hoped that her mother kept the window open because when she was little her mother told her if something happened to her she would always leave the window open till she would come home.
what if she forgot Annie thought to herself.
so she told peter what she was worried so he said he would take her to the nursery window every night so she would know that her mother will not forget.
and he did just that which made Annie happy knowing the window was open and she always saw her mother by the chair near the fireplace hoping her daughter will come home.
