Tetsuya looks at his sister while they are practicing in the school gym. Something happened in the infirmary, he thought. His sister is busy avoiding Akashi at all cost. It is impossible that Akashi has remembered something. Because if that happens, the both of them will fly back to America, that is for sure.
"Tetsu, is something bothering you?"
Tetsuya looks at Aomine and shrugs. "I am worried about Tsukina. Her back is still aching since the fall last week."
"She's working too hard because the district preliminaries are coming up and they have high expectation from this basketball club," Aomine explains.
Tetsu stops his thought and stares at Aomine like he's an alien. He gestures for his friend to lower down a bit and knocks his forehead.
"Hey!" Aomine shouts in pain and rubs his forehead. "What the hell are you doing?"
"I'm just checking if your brain is finally working," Tetsuya answers with a shrug.
"What do you mean by that?" Aomine shrieks again.
"What do you mean by what, Aomine?" Tsukina butts in the conversation because the two are bothering the others from practice.
Aomine and Tetsuya shivers when they see the expression of Tsukina. She looks like she's ready to beat their asses with that devilish smile on her lips.
"Go back to stretching, idiots," Tsukina shouts at the both of them.
"Yes maam!" Tetsuya and Aomine shouts and did a mock salute and go back to running around the court.
"You don't have to be so tough," Nijimura-senpai says.
"Says the man, who has having a hard time handling one rebel," Tsukina mumbles and gives Nijimura-senpai the evaluation of the team and the battle plans against some of the best teams in the district. "I'll be taking my day off today."
"Check-up?"
Tsukina nods and rubs her aching back. And to avoid one redhead, she added on her mind. Does he need to ruin the equilibrium between her and him together with the team? It is even hard to participate in every meeting with the coaches because of his stares to her.
"Running away, is it?" Tsukina glares at him. He raises his arms in surrender but then chuckles. "You cannot ignore the fact that he is glaring at any man taking advances on you and he's always looking at you."
"Just keep your silence and I will keep my mouth shut on whatever you are planning," Tsukina retorts with a winning smile.
