Part 13

Earth, Fire, Air and Water,

Listen to me as I desire

Light and dark now merge in fate,

The sinful power legend has said

Erase the call of what've been told,

Except to those whose name I hold

With all the might of moon and sun,

Let all the done be undone.

Takaki opens his eyes. The pain he felt not long ago has now gone.

"Ah... Hika! You are supposed to make it disappear."

"I tried... Why Hika's magic does not work? Huuuuu... Hika wants Kei-Ty..."

What's going on? Am I back in time?

Hika was getting ready to re-do his magic on the cell but Takaki quickly stops him.

"What's wrong Takaki? Why did you stop me?"

"Don't you remember?"

Bubu and Hika look at each other with a blank face, then turns towards the taller guy. "No."

"What is that Bubu supposed to remember?" Bubu asks.

"Maybe he is asking if you remember to brush your teeth last night Bubu," Hika replies to the boy's question.

"No, no... it's not that. Em....never mind."

So it's not them. Then who did it? Who turns back the time?

"Papa..."

Takaki gets stunned. Slowly he turns around to the familiar voice- actually, his own voice. Standing in front of him is a boy who looks exactly like him when he was about ten years old.

"Papa!!!!" the boy runs towards him with a wide smile and tears in his eyes. Takaki is still standing in shocked, looking at his little self who is now embracing his legs tight.

Wait a minute... I have a son?? When? How?

"This is Yuya, the King's nephew," Kei-Ty whose face full with dirt and bruises explains to the surprised boy. Takaki bends, making eye contact with the teary boy. He gently strokes Yuya's head, and the boy to hug him instantly.

"Ano... I may look like your papa, but I'm not him. I am 'him' from the other dimension."

Yuya breaks the hug, still smiling. "Yuya knows. But Yuya is happy even if papa is not Yuya's 'papa'," he wraps his hands around Takaki's neck again. "Yuya miss papa. Please let Yuya hug papa for a while."

Takaki has no heart to refuse knowing the boy's history and the sorrow he went through. Somehow he feels glad that he is somewhat useful at this moment. A simple hug for a lonely boy can never cause harm.

"But who reversed the time?" Takaki asks.

"Yuya did it."

"This boy?"

Kei-Ty nods. "This boy is gifted. He is both fairy and yokai, meaning he has the ultimate pool of energy from both worlds in him. Once this boy fully develops his magic he will have no equal. That is another reason why the Dark Emperor really wants Yuya to be on his side. He knows he can never take over the palace as long as Yuya is there because Yuya is bound to protect that place- that's another oath made by Yuya's mother before she died."

"We have to move on," Kei-Ty changes her intonation. "You saw it before, your friend is not here. There's another cell at the other side of the building near the front gate. He should be there. Go get him. Yuya and I will deal with Ryuyu."

Yuya let go of his hand that was tightly hugging his 'papa'. "Yuya will help Kei-Ty. Yuya will punish them for hurting papa."

Daiki closes the back door carefully without making any sounds. Inoo has been watching the front door since the 'confession' just now, making it hard for Daiki to move around. Using muffin as his excuse Daiki finally get the chance to slip out.

He walks carefully in the dark. Slowly he arrives at the main road. Daiki was about to cross when a sudden noise stops him. Minute by minute the noise become louder. Daiki brave himself to peek inside the bushes where the noise comes from.

Daiki's eyes meet another pair of huge round eyes, and for a moment he forgets how to breathe after seeing the legendary creature.

It's Yuya's unicorn mercilessly tied to the ground.

As Kei-Ty predicted they found Ryutaro at the other side of the hall. Ryutaro is lying down unconscious with the wounds Takaki saw in their 'telepathy conversation'. Hika tries his magic on the cell again, but this time the iron cell turn into candy bars like the one in Hansel and Gretel. This time Bubu didn't scold his friend. The two little fairies become over excited and eat the candies instead.

"This is the best magic you have ever done Hika!" Bubu complements Hika while chewing the huge candy bar.

Hika grins, showing his teeth. "Kei-Ty will scold us if she knows this."

Takaki leaves the boys with their candies and rushes to get Ryutaro on the floor.

"Ryu! Get up! Hey Ryu!" Takaki shakes the boy's body several times but the boy shows no reaction.

"Hika! Bubu! I need some help!" Takaki yells.

Bubu and Hika- still with candies in their hands- fly to get the older boy.

"Can you heal his wounds?"

Hika lifts up his hand but Takaki stops him. "I don't want you to turn him into candies."

Hika nods, understanding his poor magic outcome every time he tried. "True. Bubu should do it."

"Ok! Here, hold my candy," Bubu hands his share to Hika before cheerfully flies around and back to Rytaro's side. He touches his pendant, singing a rhyme. After the last word Ryutaro's body slowly heals- not even a single scar left.

"Why don't we take him back to the palace," Bubu suggests. "The queen may help with his memories. Bubu hasn't learned on how to do that yet."

"Good idea Bubu," Takaki put Ryutaro on his back. "Let's go!"

"How about the candies?" Hika innocently asks.

"Bring as much as you can! We are going out of here!" Takaki starts to make his way out. 

The little fairy excitedly obeys. He pulls out the biggest candy bar and flies along with Bubu, tailing Takaki. They made it to the front gate, and head towards their unicorn that is loyally waiting.

"Let's go Takaki!" Bubu excitedly sits on the white horse.

"Why are you still standing there?" Hika throws his question seeing the boy not moving.

Takaki keeps silence. He puts Ryutaro on the ground, looking at him in confusion.

"Who is this boy? Why am I here?" Takaki holds his head.

"Where are we going?"
