Part 14

"Who is this boy? Why am I here?" Takaki holds his head.

"Where are we going?"

Bubu and Hika gasp.

"Oh no... He's losing his memories too," Bubu mumbles.

"But he remembered everything just a moment ago," Hika counters back. "Bubu... think of something."

"Why me?"

"Because Takaki might end up in Hika's tummy if Hika do the magic."

"But Bubu doesn't know how to do it!"

In the midst of the quarreling a gold flying horse is coming in their direction, wounded and messy. The unicorn twirls in the air twice before safely lands next to the boys. At the same time a silver light approaches them, giving out silver dust as its trail. The light becomes brighter as it draws closer.

"The Queen!!!" Hika shouts in excitement seeing Ari in the sparkling light that just landed. The boy turns to see the man who jumps down from the gold unicorn, shock to se who it is. "Eih?! Another Queen??"

Daiki who just get off the unicorn couldn't hide his surprises to see the people in front of him now. He rubs his eyes several times, pinching his cheeks along the way wanting to make sure that he is not dreaming.

When did Yabu and Hika shrink? Oh wait- when did I have boops???

"Yuya! Ryu!" Daiki runs to get his friends. "Are you all right Yuya? Hey Ryu! Guys, answer me! Wake up Ryu!"

Takaki looks at Daiki with a blank gaze. "I'm sorry, do I know you?"

"What's going on?" the boy turns to face his female self and the two little kids.

"He's losing his memories," Ari replies, bending her knee a little. "I'm Ari, the Queen of Amethyst."

Daiki raises his eyebrows. "Ok, em... Domo... em... I'm Arioka Daiki, your twin... em... a male" Daiki stutters, not knowing how to respond. "Wait a minute... Then you must be Yuya's mother!!" the fact strikes in his head. "No wonder he called me mama all the time."

Ari nods. "Indeed I am. Thank you for taking care of my son."

"Well, actually he went missing."

"He's not," Bubu joins the adults' conversation. "Yuya is with Kei-Ty, fighting-"

The little fairy couldn't finish his sentence as a huge explosion interrupts. The castle which is just a few meters to them blows into pieces. Reflectively Ari raises her hand, creating a shield for all of them from the stone 'rain'. Two men in black cloaks are thrown just outside the cloak, followed by two familiar people in white.

"Yuya! Kei-Ty!" Hika yells in excitement. The two fairies with butterfly wings land close to them, bruised.

Daiki's eyes widen to see the lady next to Yuya. Keito is a female too? All right, I'm going insane! Anyone else with boops?

"Mama!!" Yuya hugs the queen as soon as Ari removes the shield. "Yuya misses mama!!"

"I miss you too Yuya," Ari kisses the boy's forehead. "I'm glad you are all right."

"Em! Mama takes care of Yuya a lot," Yuya points towards Daiki who is standing with a surprise on his face.

I guess I'm papa now Yuya. I'm a MALE.

"Yuya has grown up my queen. His magic has improved a lot," Kei-Ty complements as she weaves her right index finger in the air, causing a thick sliver thread wrap around Ryuyu and Ryo-ya who are about to pass out. "He paralyzed his brothers and suck out their powers. It was amazing!"

Ari bends so that her eyes match Yuya's level. "Is that true?"

"Em," the little boy takes out two black pearls from his pocket and hands them to the queen. "They did it to Aka and Kazu the night Yuya escaped. Yuya remember the spell they use and thought that Yuya might be able to use them. After all, Yuya is a Yokai."

"No, you are an angel Yuya. My angel," Ari pats Yuya's head before gently kissing it.

"Ok... So the bad guys are down. Can we work on my friends now? Please...." Daiki begs.

"We need to send them home," Ari stands up and walks towards the unconscious Ryutaro. "This poor boy is totally worn out, and looks like Takaki is losing his memory too. Even you will end up like them if you stay here any longer," Ari slowly put her palm onto Ryutaro's face. "Hika, Bubu, can you help me to take them to the palace? Maru will be there. He'll know what to do."

"Ride on the unicorn with your friends. Kei-Ty will guide you to the 'interception'. You'll be safe there."

Daiki wanted to asks about all the jargons he has been hearing, but he knows he will only delay their precious time if he does so. Who cares... as long as my Yuya and Ryu are safe.

"Where are you taking me?" Takaki yells when Daiki reaches out his hand.

"We are going to a safer place Yuya. Come with me ok?"

"How do I know if you won't hurt me? I don't want to end up like him!" the tall boy points ant Ryutaro. "Let me go!" Takaki lands his right fist on Daiki's left cheek, causing the boy's lips to bleed.

Daiki calmly wipes the red liquid that runs down his chin. "I love you Takaki Yuya. I won't hurt you, I promise."

"Love?"

Daiki nods, slowly getting closer to the confuse-looking boy. He gently strokes Takaki's burnt hair.

"Don't you remember?" Daiki leans forward and plant a kiss on his crush's lips. Takaki was reluctant at first, but soon enough give in to the boy's sweet lips that mixed with the metallic-taste blood. A warm feeling starts to fill his heart and tears falls down his cheeks.

"I love you Takaki Yuya. I'll make sure you'll get back your memories, and we'll save Ryu."

Takaki just silently nods, allowing himself to be walked to the unicorn by the 'stranger' before riding on it.

"All right! Here we go!!" Bubu and Hika's unicorn starts to fly. Daiki and Takaki ride the gold unicorn- with Ryutaro sandwiched between them.

"But why don't you two come with us?" Daiki asks his female self.

Ari holds Yuya's hand and their wings starts to flutter in the air.

"The King needs some help."
