I felt the butterflies in my stomach as our eyes meet,
your piercing grey eyes that held so much warmth.
My heartbeat intensifies as you smiled at me.
You seem so close yet so far,
the fact that you know how to make my heart melts
I feel so comfortable around you but I still stutter,
it's like my mind shut down completely.
I love your smile,
how you're compassionate,
kind, sweet and handsome.
You hold my entire heart it's a pity you don't feel the same.
I wish you find someone who can love you more than I do,
love your best friend.

Author's Note
This collection of poems is coming to an end. It has been a year now since I published my first poem. It has been a great experience over the past year. I achieved 1.65k reads and over 300 votes. I didn't expect it to get that many. I want to thank every one of you who helped me reach where I am.
