Riley's POV

I woke up slumped on the floor of the trap. I smelt something being cooked. I get up and head into the kitchen. I see that Cairo's mom was making breakfast. I ain't remember her being this fine when we left Chicago. I take a seat at the table.

"How YOU doing, LaKeisha." I speak.

She looked at me and went back to scrambling the eggs. "Fine , Riley." I stare at her fat ass in that robe. Maybe living here wasn't going to be that bad  I thought.

"Do me a favor?" She says. "Go get the rest of your little friends and tell them breakfast is ready."

I nod. "Ight , LaKeisha." I stand up and go back into the living room. I bent down and shook Cindy awake. "Ay, breakfast is almost done go in the kitchen, aight? You good?"

"Yeah, I'm good..." She says.

"Ight." I stand back up and go over to Huey, he's sprawled out all over the couch. I slap him in the face. "Getcho ass up nigga. Breakfast almost finished. Tell the bitch you brought with us the same thing, I ain't even try to mess wid that hoe." I looked down at Cesar, his mouth wide open.

I kicked him. "And getcho ass up too nigga. Hot ass breath." I walk back into the kitchen and sit down at the table.
"Thank you , Riley." LaKeisha says.

She picks up a plate of food and places it in front of me.

"Than-..." I notice my bacon was weird, it was a smiley face. I raise my eyebrow and look up at her. She winked at me. Everybody started to flood into the kitchen and eat their breakfast. Ain't nobody was talking. I break the silence and say. "Where that nigga Cairo? Nigga been locked in his room every since we got here yesterday."

"Probably sleep or talking wid his little girlfriend." Keisha says.

"He needa come wake his ass up. I needa get... how you say... reacquainted with the hood. Ain't that right Huey?" He didn't respond to me and just looked at me and went back munching on his food.

"Ight then, nigga be like that."

Narrators POV

Cairo came into the kitchen, scratching his head. "I heard what you said , Riley. Why ain't no one tell me the food was ready?" Cairo said.

"Cause you know better, sit your ass down, I'll get the plate. I don't know where your hands been." LaKeisha replied.

Riley started cracking up. "Damn, you got that nigga."

"Nigga, I'll beat yo ass." Cairo reacted.

Riley got up and lifted up his shirt, revealing he was strapped. "I want you too nigga."

Silence fills the room and then Cairo starts cracking up. "Same ole Riley ain't nothing changed."

"Shit you know it, a nigga still 10 toes down."

Riley day back down and finished up his food. He stood up. "Ima be in yo room, Cairo. I need yo ass to come show me the hood when yo ass is finished eating." Riley walked out of the kitchen.

Cairo watched Riley leave. "Damn that nigga is annoying. God damn!" He said. He looked over to Huey. "How long y'all been on the road, I know y'all niggas didn't drive all the way to Chicago."

Huey looked up at him and nodded. "We drove."

"In that cramped ass car, damn!" Cairo chuckled.

"It was Huey's idea, ain't nobody wanted to do that." Cesar spoke up.

Huey looked at Cesar, with a death glare.
