Chapter 10: Going Home Early

The next week of school on Monday, River Rose and Byron are happy. Tiffany, Jason, Juliette, and Grace saw Jackson dead. Tiffany said, "Call an ambulance." Jason calls the ambulance and the gang are walking to school together. Carter said, "I thought for sure that Jackson is coming." Byron said, "I don't know and my parents told me that he must've been going over to a friend's house." Daisy said, "That's very odd." Bekah said, "I didn't know that we're all neighbors." River Rose said, "Neither do we." They all saw the ambulances, cop cars, and firetrucks. Jake asked, "What the hell is this all about?" Archie said, "I guess that there might be a fire." Corey said, "That's pretty accurate." River Rose said, "Let's go." They all made it to school and they went in. River Rose is feeling a lot more better since her amnesia and Byron is seeing River Rose happy. Byron said, "My beautiful love, you are so sexy and I think I remember how beautiful you looked." River Rose said, "Yeah and even though that we're having kids." Byron said, "You still look sexy." River Rose said, "You're the best baby." Carter said, "I think we're going to be fine." Rosetta came over and said, "Byron, I came over to tell you that Mr. Bell has something to show you." Lexi asked, "Is there something wrong?" Rosetta said, "I don't know." Byron said, "I'll be right back, baby girl." River Rose said, "Okay sweetie." Byron and Rosetta went to go see Mr. Bell for something important. Archie asked, "What the hell is this about?" Daisy said, "I'm not sure." Hans said, "You don't think that this is about failing grades because I don't think I'm failing at all." Scott said, "I don't think none of us aren't failing grades." Bonnie Jo came over and said, "Hey y'all. If we're doing this together then I'm so ready to join." Daisy said, "Bonnie, most people provided many groups that has more people or few." River Rose said, "Daisy, Bonnie Jo is harmless and we're not here to start a revolution." Daisy said, "Oh. Sorry." Bonnie Jo said, "That's okay and I think we're getting a better idea." Jake said, "I'm with you." Corey asked, "What do you have in mind?" Bonnie Jo said, "I was thinking if we can still join the talent show by adding me in the group." Carter said, "Sure." Austin said, "I think Byron will like that." Bekah said, "That will work." Jake said, "Yeah and I think Byron will want you to join." Byron and Rosetta are at Mr. Bell's office. Mr. Bell said, "Byron, I want you and your friends to go home today." Byron asked, "Why?" Mr. Bell said, "Apparently, your little psycho brother Jackson is dead and we noticed that there's the bag of pills that he was taken." Byron asked, "Are you serious?" Mr. Bell nods his head yes and Byron said, "Oh my God." Officer Thomas asked, "Where were you when Jackson was alive?" Byron said, "My psycho little brother took my girlfriend away by taking her to the school roof so, me and my friends went after them." Officer Thomas asked, "Do you have any part of giving Jackson any drugs?" Byron said, "No sir." Officer Thomas asked, "So, what happened after you and your friends went after Jackson and your girlfriend?" Byron said, "Jackson and my girlfriend River Rose were already at the school roof. So, Jackson got on to the edge of the school roof and River Rose was already knocked out by the pole." Officer Thomas asked, "Did any of you see Jackson fell off the school roof?" Byron said, "No and we were taking River Rose to the nurse's office." Officer Thomas asked, "What is River Rose's last name?" Byron said, "Everdeen." Officer Thomas asked, "Wait a minute, are you talking about my niece?" Rosetta said, "You are River Rose's uncle." Officer Thomas said, "Yes and I heard about my niece won at the beauty pageant as Miss Teen Country." Byron said, "I didn't know that you are related to River Rose." Officer Thomas said, "I am and you also got my niece pregnant of twins." Rosetta said, "Aww, congrats Byron." Byron said, "Thanks. And yes sir." Officer Thomas said, "River Rose has never been alone before and you have to take care of her. River does get a lot of anxiety attacks for being all scare and keep her calm so that she doesn't get scared." Byron said, "River is doing great and she's happy with me and my daughter Brittney." Officer Thomas said, "That's my boy." Mr. Bell asked, "Do you want to take your friends home?" Byron said, "Sure." Officer Thomas said, "Before you go, the drugs that your brother took was barbiturate." Byron said, "Son of the gun." Rosetta said, "Oh my God." Mr. Bell asked, "Do you have any ideas who might be giving him barbiturates?" Byron said, "No I don't and Dylan is acting very suspicious towards us at Starbucks." Mr. Bell said, "I was wondering about him and his friends left early for. We'll have a talk with him and Rosetta, you're free to go." Rosetta said, "Thank you." Rosetta walks out of Mr. Bell's office and Mr. Bell said, "In the meantime, you and your friends are going home early today. So, you and your friends don't have to go to classes at all." Byron said, "Thank you Mr. Bell." Mr. Bell said, "I'm so sorry about your brother." Byron said, "Thanks." Byron got up and he walks out of Mr. Bell's office. Officer Thomas walks out with Byron and the gang saw Byron and Officer Thomas. River Rose said, "Uncle Ronnie." Carter said, "No way." Bekah said, "Your uncle is a cop in our school." River Rose said, "Yes." Jake said, "Now we won." Officer Thomas came over and gave River Rose a hug. Officer Thomas said, "There's my favorite niece." River Rose said, "I miss you so much Uncle Ronnie." Officer Thomas said, "I miss you too sweetheart and I knew you came to California." River Rose said, "It was a surprise." Archie said, "You're lucky." Scott said, "A school officer who has a niece which is our best friend." Carter said, "I knew she's lucky." Byron said, "That's my baby girl." Officer Thomas said, "There's my two nephews." River Rose and Carter looked at each other. River Rose said, "Carter, you are my cousin." Byron asked, "Then why are you flirting with your cousin?" Jake said, "Oh my God." Carter said, "I'm so sorry." Officer Thomas said, "It's not your fault, Carter and we should've told you guys that you, Jake, and River are cousins." Daisy said, "I was wondering about the lip stain." River Rose said, "Oh man." Carter said, "Nice kiss." River Rose said, "You're the one who kiss me." Jake smacked Carter's head with his right hand and said, "Good going, Carter." Carter said, "I think I can see that." Officer Thomas said, "So, you and your friends are free to go." The gang walked out of the school early without going to class and Corey saw the bus. Corey said, "Hey guys, check out that school bus." Jake said, "Awe shit." Bonnie Jo asked, "What do you guys mostly do?" River Rose said, "Well Bonnie, we do a lot of fun stuff like going to the park, Starbucks, and the restaurant." Byron said, "I didn't see you there, Bonnie Jo." Bonnie Jo said, "Oh, you must be Byron and you're the one who sing at the beauty pageant with River." Byron said, "That's right and River Rose is a real beauty." Bonnie Jo said, "I know and I want to be part of the talent show with you guys." Byron said, "Sure and we have enough room for you to join." River Rose said, "I think you'll love that Tony Pajamas dude." Byron said, "Pajamas." Carter said, "Damn." Lexi said, "Mr. Gerald told us to dress up from any shows and movies for the talent show." Scott said, "Yes." Archie said, "You are most likely to be a star." River Rose said, "No worries, you'll see what I look like for the talent show." Byron said, "Tony Pajamas will be back." River Rose said, "Marry me." Byron kiss River Rose so much and he pulls away. Bekah said, "Hey guys, I think we can go over to the bleachers." Austin asked, "What about the bus?" River Rose said, "Let's go." Austin is standing while the gang walks away and said, "Oh really, we're not going to have a chance to get on the bus." Austin catches up with the gang and River Rose said, "I remember how we first met back in Tennessee." Byron said, "Me too baby girl." River Rose said, "Now that we're starting a family, it's like I wanted to be a mom and without messing things up." Byron said, "As long as I'm here with you, we're doing this together and I will help you." Byron kiss River Rose's forehead and pulls away. They sat down on the bleachers and River Rose and Byron were making out. Byron pulls away and asked, "Should we stop?" River Rose said, "Just shut up." Byron and River Rose went back to make out. Daisy said, "Geez you two, cool down with your PDA." Byron pulls away and looks at the gang. Byron said, "Well, I think that this is how we first making out on the bleachers while Jackson got sick." Lexi said, "You cheated on Jackson." River Rose said, "I did and Byron is my only best friend that I really liked." Archie asked, "How did you and Byron make out for?" Byron said, "I was doing this for revenge to prove to Jackson that I was in love with River Rose and her kissing went pretty wild." Hans asked, "How long have you guys been doing this?" River Rose said, "Three years." Jake said, "Oh geez." Bonnie Jo said, "You guys were really in love with each other." Byron said, "Yes and I love my River. She's perfect for me and I don't want any other guys to date my baby girl." Corey asked, "Have you two ever wanted kids?" River Rose said, "We talked about it and we're starting a family." Bekah said, "You know that you two are going to love my gifts for the baby shower." Byron said, "You know we will and I think having twins is going to make us happy." River Rose said, "Brittney will be a big sister." Austin asked, "Did your parents said that you can have kids?" River Rose said, "Yes but they did say no at first and I ended up having abortion." Bekah said, "No." Daisy said, "That's so sad." Jake said, "They did regret signing you up for abortion." River Rose said, "Yes they did and I think Byron is perfect for me to date him." Archie said, "I guess we know how much you guys loved each other." River Rose said, "We still do." Byron said, "C'mon guys, let's get on the bus." Austin said, "Finally." Carter said, "Shut up." The gang went to the bus and Byron opens the door. The gang got in to the bus and Jake sat down. River Rose and Byron are happy to be together like kids. Jake grabbed his keys and he put it in. He starts the bus and he shuts the door. Jake backs up the bus and he starts drove off. Bonnie Jo asked, "What are we doing?" Archie said, "We're having fun." River Rose said, "We're so happy that we're sitting here like we're kids again." Byron said, "Yeah and I remember when we were sitting right here in this first seat on the passenger side." River Rose said, "You remember it." Byron said, "I still do." River Rose said, "Babe, I miss how we were as kids." Byron said, "Me too babe but we are now belong together and I can't let go of you. You're my best girlfriend that I ever dated and you probably heard about my car crash." River Rose said, "I did and I thought that I would never see you again." Byron said, "It was hard on me to think about it and I knew that I made it through." River Rose said, "I knew you would and I needed you." Bryon said, "I needed you too." Daisy said, "You two are so cute together." Bonnie Jo asked, "Where exactly are we going?" Jake said, "You'll see when we get there." Archie asked, "How do you know which way to go?" Jake said, "You mind here." Carter said, "Archie, just shut the hell up." Hans said, "We'll find out after Jake tells us." Archie said, "Alright. I get it." Lexi said, "You ever seen any school buses use a CD player." Daisy said, "I could've at least to figure that out." Austin asked, "Who's that one guy from the diving team?" Corey said, "It was Jason." Byron said, "He's my enemy from the swim team and I didn't get in first place." River Rose asked, "Why?" Byron said, "So, Jason had the higher score on the swim team and I get a lower score but Hannah had a higher score like you wouldn't believe." Corey said, "Yeah and Hannah is really good but she came in second." Byron said, "Yeah and I came in third place." River Rose said, "Baby, at least that you tried." Byron kiss River Rose's cheek and pulls away. Daisy said, "Aww." Bonnie Jo said, "Aww." Lexi said, "Aww." Bekah said, "Aww." Carter said, "You better keep our cousin safe away from Marissa and you know how River is." Byron said, "I'll always keep River safe and she's my beautiful girlfriend that I ever loved. Even though, we're starting a family and I wanted to start over as a dad." Jake said, "River is happy that you're keeping her safe and she gets really scared if no one isn't protecting her. She can get beat up pretty bad and I don't want her to lose the twins." Byron said, "I'm not going to let her to get beaten up and the popular crew are the ones who let Marissa to hang out with us. That's why Marissa is working with them and honestly, her and I will have a huge talk." River Rose asked, "What about Brittney and I?" Byron said, "I want you to take Brittney over to your parents house and stay over there with them." Corey asked, "What the hell man?" Daisy said, "This isn't good." Carter said, "You are seriously letting River Rose and Brittney to go over to her parents house." Byron said, "I'm protecting them from Marissa and I don't want Marissa to find out." Lexi said, "That makes sense." Scott said, "Good. You make sure that Marissa doesn't find River and Brittney." Byron said, "I would never do that." Jake said, "Good." Bonnie Jo said, "I saw the picture of you and River Rose on Facebook and Instagram." Byron said, "Yeah and we both have the exact same pictures. We even took one with Brittney on our cover photo and we'll have a new one until the twins are born." River Rose said, "I will make sure to keep more update on the twins." Carter said, "Man, I didn't think that you wanted kids to make you happy." River Rose said, "Well, I want to and the twins are perfect to keep me happy with Brittney." Byron said, "We're perfect to have kids and people can't say no to us for being together." River Rose said, "You've been my best friend for a long time." Byron said, "It's been, love and I don't think our friendship wasn't meant to be broken. I really begged to have you in my life to date you and marry you. So, I can have you and we can have kids of our own." River Rose said, "I'm glad we are and I'm glad that Brittney is perfect to be the big sister." Byron said, "Me too sweetheart and we're happy to be parents." River Rose said, "And we are." Archie asked, "Will you still go to school next year?" River Rose said, "Yes and unless, Mr. Bell make some new suggestions." Carter said, "Awe damn." Daisy said, "I hope he doesn't mean that we will go for summer school." Byron said, "I don't think so and I think he'll suggested of online schooling." Austin said, "That's the one." Scott said, "It's the one that we all hate." Byron said, "Well if Mr. Bell says so, you guys will have to come over to our house to do your work." River Rose said, "I probably have to feed the twins first before their afternoon nap." Daisy said, "Yeah." Byron said, "Don't worry love, I'll handle the twins and Brittney." River Rose asked, "Are you sure, sweetie?" Byron said, "I'm sure love and I'm not letting you to get far behind on your school work." River Rose said, "You're the best sweetie." Byron said, "I want to be alone with River Rose." Daisy said, "Yeah Carter." Jake opens the door and said, "Okay." The gang got off the bus and went for a walk. Byron kiss River Rose so much and he couldn't let go. River Rose pulls away and said, "I miss how everything went." Byron said, "Yeah and I figured that we were like this when we were kids." River Rose said, "You always wanted me with you." Byron said, "I still do and I can't believe that I didn't changed my relationship status to married." Byron said, "That's why I refused to change my relationship status because I'm still in love with you and I felt like something went wrong after I married to Marissa." River Rose asked, "Then what's wrong?" Byron said, "I felt like it's me because I didn't stop Marissa from the wedding and I was too late to say anything." Byron and River Rose are having a great time for chilling on the school bus like they're kids again. But a little that they didn't know, Marissa stood right there from the school bus and heard the whole conversation. Now it started to get on Marissa for knowing what she will do next and making sure that the revenge is already set up.
