Chapter 19: Court Battle

The next month of April came, River Rose is eight months pregnant of the twins and Byron put his head on River Rose's stomach. Byron said, "Babe." River Rose said, "Yes sweetie pie." Byron said, "I'm worried about this." River Rose asked, "Why?" Byron said, "Well, I know that we're ready for having the twins but I'm afraid about the fight that will start during prom." River Rose said, "Babe, you have to tell everyone that I'm pregnant just to get over it." Byron asked, "Are you sure that you really want me to say it?" River Rose said, "I'm sure sweetie and I'm not keeping this as a secret for long." Byron said, "I guess you're right and the twins are ready to be here." River Rose said, "I know and I just can't believe that I look like this." Byron said, "Oh baby girl, you look beautiful and I don't think you look horrible." River Rose said, "You're so sweet, baby." Byron said, "You know I am and I hope you twins make Mommy happy." The twins starts kicking pretty hard and River Rose said, "Oh wow, little ones and you are ready to be here." Byron said, "Keep your Mommy happy." River Rose said, "Baby, you think we're doing this." Byron said, "Babe, relax and I'm sure we're doing this for us with our kids." The puppy came over to them and Byron said, "Yes pretty girl, you just want us for anything like the kids." Elsa crawls over them and Brittney crawls over to them too. Byron said, "I think Brittney is the one who plays with her little sister." River Rose said, "Our little ones." Byron got up and said, "I think the twins will be here next week." River Rose said, "I know but it's the only time for them to stay put before they'll arrived next week." Brittney said, "Puppy." The puppy came over the kids and Byron said, "We get the answer on kids and a puppy." River Rose asked, "Who's going to watch them?" Byron said, "Babe, my parents will watch them and just relax." River Rose said, "I don't know what's wrong with me." Byron got up and said, "Babe, I know that you've been going through a lot of stress and the funeral but you know that you have to let it go." River Rose said, "Babe, that's why I'm scared of doing everything wrong and can't seem to fix it." Byron grabbed both of River Rose's hands and said, "Babe, that's why we're doing this together and we both knew that we made a lot of mistakes from the past. Everything that we do is something that we're working on together and not letting things go fall off the edge. I can make everything all disappeared with you and we both can do this together. I know that we can make it through." River Rose said, "I guess you mean it that way and we both knew that we will." Byron said, "Exactly baby girl and I promise you that this is what your mom would want you to do. She would want you to let things go but she wouldn't expect you to lose her forever and she just want you to be strong while having our twins. That's why she's looking down at you, me, the kids, Carter, Jake, your dad, and the rest of your family. She just want you to go on and do what you can to take her spot for being the best mother and beauty pageant." River Rose said, "I guess you're right and I guess she always knew exactly how she would want this." Byron kiss River Rose's cheek and pulls away. Byron said, "Exactly babe." The next day on the following night as the kids are at River Rose's house with their puppy and the gang went to the prom at school. Byron said, "See my beautiful princess, I told you that you'll be just fine." River Rose said, "I guess that's why you wanted me to go." Byron said, "I'm just wanted you to be happy and you're always safe with me." River Rose said, "I'm glad that you protect me." Byron said, "Me too baby girl and I just didn't want Liam to hurt you again." River Rose said, "He won't for a long time and I never wanted him at all." Byron said, "You're still beautiful like the day I met you." River Rose said, "You're so sweet." Byron kiss River Rose so much and the gang are watching them. Byron pulls away and Scott said, "You always keep them safe." Byron said, "And I always will." River Rose said, "I feel like we keep this forever." Byron said, "Like always baby girl and I won't let you down with our family." Carter said, "Make our cousin happy with our little cousins." Byron said, "I always will." River Rose said, "I feel like I'm carrying twins while I'm wearing this prom dress." Byron said, "You still look beautiful." River Rose said, "You handsome hunk." Byron kiss River Rose so much as the popular crew came over to the gang and Archie said, "Awe shit." Sarah said, "Oh hell no." Byron pulls away and Jake said, "You dumbasses." Scott asked, "What the hell are you doing here?" Marceline said, "We know that you guys are covering Byron's ass over everything." River Rose said, "You can't keep Jennifer out of jail, you nimrods." Jackie said, "Try to think this is a game for you guys then, we will tell everyone about this." Jetta said, "Yeah yanks, you better scram without taking candy from a baby." Carter said, "Exactly and you guys can't do shit." Dylan said, "You always get everything to Byron like you guys are pity party him." Austin said, "We don't pity party on no one and I mean no one." Olivia said, "You don't take anything out on us." Lexi said, "Yeah you nimrods." Chase said, "You'll never win over us." River Rose said, "C'mon you dummies, you won't win over us but we will win over you because we don't cover Byron up and it doesn't work that way." Roxy said, "Yeah and you guys are so pathetic." Hannah asked, "Why are you so rude to us?" Byron said, "Because Hannah, we're the only ones who are strong enough to put you guys down like we did before." Bonnie Jo said, "You guys can't seem to stop." Corey asked, "Have you guys had enough?" Rosetta said, "Yeah." Marissa said, "No and Byron is supposed to be mine at first." River Rose said, "No and Byron is never going to be yours." Marissa said, "You are only fourteen." Clarissa said, "No pipsqueak, we're fifteen not fourteen." Byron said, "Yeah and you think that River is going to get in trouble. Well you know what, you're a real piece of shit and I never in my life met a damn liar like you who has to ruin everything." Marissa said, "Oh really because you think that I'm a piece of shit." Byron said, "Well yeah because you are giving me a lot of hell since you and your dumbass friends started." Nicole said, "You are not going to win over us." Stormer said, "Yeah and no one can't tell us what to do." Blaze said, "You can't have us to listen to you dumb heads because you guys are telling a lie and blaming Byron isn't going to help at all." Byron said, "Blaze is right and I will do my best to get you all in jail for keeping Jennifer out of jail. And for you, I will not speak to you again after you hired Jennifer to kill my ex girlfriend and I don't give a shit about you." Marissa said, "Oh fuck you." Corey said, "Shut up Marissa." Jake said, "Seriously Marissa." Graphix said, "You are so pathetic more like a pathetic joke to me." Cameron said, "You guys are so cruel." River Rose said, "You better take that back and scram, you nimrods." Sarah said, "Oh, you are so going down." River Rose said, "Oh boo hoo hoo. You guys already try that and it doesn't work." Jackie said, "Get it, sis." Carter said, "Keep going." Dylan said, "No she won't." Rory said, "You wanna go for a knuckle sandwich to keep you quiet." River Rose said, "Listen here, I don't take crap out of you nimrods because it just doesn't feel like none of you can't learn to put me down like I'm a fool." The gang snickers and Austin and Scott high fived. Daisy said, "You see what I mean, none of you can't win over River Rose and you guys are such a wimpy heads." Marceline said, "You are not allowed to win." River Rose said, "Says who." Daisy said, "Yeah." Lexi said, "You're a loser." Bonnie Jo said, "It looks like River won." River Rose said, "Haha." Sarah said, "Whatever." The popular crew walks away and Carter said, "That's our cousin." Joe said, "Wow sis, you even taught them a lesson." River Rose said, "Like I said, I don't want them to put me down." Byron said, "You're the best, love." River Rose said, "Like always." The gang went back to dancing and Byron felt happy for having River Rose as his fiancé. Mr. Bell came up to the microphone and said, "Alright everyone, it's time to announced the prom king and queen." Everyone stops dancing and they all looked at Mr. Bell. Mr. Bell said, "Our prom king goes to Byron Morgan." Everybody clapped for Byron and Byron kiss River Rose so much as he pulls away. Byron walks over to the stage and he stand still. Tara put a crown on to Byron's head and everybody stops clapping. Mr. Bell said, "Our prom queen goes to....." The gang are hoping for River Rose and River Rose is wanting to win a tiara. Marissa is wanting the tiara and so did Sarah. Mr. Bell said, "River Rose Marie Everdeen." Everybody claps for River Rose really loud and River Rose walks over to the stage. Byron claps for River Rose and River stand right next to Byron. Tara put a tiara on to River Rose's head and everybody stops clapping. The popular crew didn't clap at all and Marissa powerwalks over to the stage as she was completely mad. Marissa said, "I swear to God, you gave River Rose the tiara and it was not meant to be for her." Mr. Bell said, "Marissa, I'm sorry that nobody didn't pick you and everyone voted for River Rose. You can't get what you wanted and River Rose is the most iconic sweetheart there is in this high school. I will not tolerate with your behavior and River Rose deserves the tiara not you." Marissa said, "You don't let River Rose to win anything." River Rose said, "Too bad, Marissa and the tiara is all mine." Byron said, "Everybody listen up, my fiancé is pregnant of my twins." Everybody clapped for them really loud and Mr. Bell said, "My favorite students." Marissa said, "You assholes." Marissa walks away and the next week finally came as River Rose has finally gave birth to the twins. Nurse Birdwell gave River Rose the twins and Byron looks at their kids. Byron is in tears and sobs, "We really did a great job for having twins." River Rose sobs, "We really did." Byron sobs, "Our son looks like us and so does our daughter." River Rose said, "Our daughter on the left will be named after my grandma Rosemary and this one on the right is named after you." Byron sobs, "That's my boy." Byron kissed Byron Jr's forehead and pulls away. The next morning, Byron is holding Rosemary while Byron Jr is still asleep and River Rose woke up. Byron said, "Morning baby girl." River Rose said, "Morning sweetie." Byron came over to River Rose and kiss her so much. Byron pulls away and River Rose said, "And morning to you too baby girl." Rosemary smiles and Byron said, "You know baby girl, you are a Rosey Posey." Rosemary smiles and River Rose said, "Our little princess." Byron said, "I think your mom is the real reason for wanting you to have the twins." River Rose said, "I guess Momma wanted the twins to be here and our little one over there is a sleepy head." Byron said, "He's everything to us with his sister." David, Catherine, and the rest of the family came in to see Byron and River Rose. David said, "Hey my favorite niece." River Rose said, "Hey Uncle David." David came over and hugs River Rose. River Rose hugs David and pulls away. Jackie said, "Now we do get a niece and nephew." David said, "They're definitely a Matlin and Everdeen." River Rose said, "They really are." Carter said, "Us Matlin and Everdeen, we don't get in trouble because we're from California and Tennessee to protect people from danger." Byron said, "You mean that this is a Matlin-Everdeen clan." River Rose said, "Well yes because I will be marrying to you and there will be another clan to be added." Daisy said, "Ha I knew it and there will be The Morgan clan." Byron said, "I think this will be awesome and I just feel like we're perfect for that." Jake said, "Just to be aware of this, we don't tell anyone about this and we have to keep this as a secret." Lexi said, "Yeah and the popular crew will think we're going into a wannabe crew." Joe said, "Oh please, they can't be too obvious over that." Minx said, "Well they can and it will be a showdown." Clarissa said, "Exactly and we're ready to beat them out." Bonnie Jo asked, "What do we do first?" River Rose said, "I have a better idea." The next week of school before the court until next week, Byron and the crew are outside. River Rose came out of the bathroom and she walks over to the door. She tries open the door to get out and she was locked in. River Rose is worrying about not being outside with Byron and everyone else. She went to go find another way until she saw a silicone face mask of Byron and now, she's completely scared. River Rose took off running and Jennifer ran after River Rose. River Rose went to the opposite direction and she went in to the empty detention room that no one hasn't been there before. She shuts the door and Jennifer went to the wrong direction. River Rose opens the window and she saw Byron. Byron looks at River Rose and asked, "What's wrong honey?" River Rose said, "Babe, I saw a silicone face mask of you and I'm locked in." Jackie said, "Who could've locked you in while you were in the bathroom?" Clarissa said, "There's only one explanation." Carter said, "Jennifer and Marissa." Jake said, "Awe shit." Byron said, "It's going to get worse than ever for next week." Archie said, "Yeah no shit." The next week at court, Byron is ready to clear his name for the second time and the popular crew saw Liam. Judge Matthias said, "Alright Byron Morgan, you are here to clear your name for the second time that I'm assuming." Byron said, "Yes your honor." Judge Matthias said, "We were wrong for arresting you -" Officer Thomas said, "Before you're really going to end this court, I have found this video from the night that Cynthia die." Officer Thomas pulls up the video and plays the video. Jennifer said, "Oh no." Marissa asked, "What the hell is this?" The video ended and another video played when Jennifer took the silicone face mask off. Dylan said, "Oh no." Rosetta said, "Look what you did, Jennifer." Byron said, "You hired Jennifer to make a silicone face mask of me." River Rose said, "Yeah and you guys were trying to do a revenge on me." Judge Matthias said, "You guys are getting arrested." Marissa said, "You stupid morons, you guys made us to look bad." Hans said, "Oh yeah then, you guys can't win over River for anything." Hannah said, "But that's not fair." River Rose said, "Oh it is because you guys aren't smart enough to keep your blabbering mouths shut while being watched on the surveillance camera." Marceline said, "You think you are tougher than us." Liam said, "Bekah, Austin, Corey, Rosetta, and Archie, please stop joining them." Archie said, "Oh yeah, we heard about what you did to River and we stop being friends with you after you hurt River." Liam asked, "Oh yeah then who told you?" Austin said, "Nobody because we seen the whole thing for hurting River Rose like that is not okay and that's more like Jackson did to her before he died." Jackie said, "Hey you." Liam asked, "What?" Portunia said, "We're talking to you." Clarissa said, "You think you can hurt our sister." Liam asked, "What are you talking about?" Marissa said, "River Rose is our twin sister." Rory said, "If you messed with our sister, we'll make sure to have you back in jail again." Blaze said, "You should stop trying to put River Rose in abusive relationship." Liam asked, "Where did you guys come from?" Graphix said, "We go to your school, dummy head." Joe said, "Yeah and you can't win over us." Reginald said, "Yeah." Liam asked, "Are you guys seeing this?" Sarah said, "Yeah and they're related to the loser hillbilly freak." River Rose said, "Well thank you, at least that I have my brothers and sisters with me." Jackie said, "Haha." Laney said, "I guess you can't win." Roxy said, "Yeah, you nimrods." Judge Matthias said, "I hereby to free Byron Morgan after being wrongly accused of murdering his ex girlfriend Cynthia Bradford and he's planted not guilty. As I owe Byron apology, I hereby to testified that the group of meddling kids for planting guilty." Judge Matthias picks up his hammer and pounds it. Byron turns around and the gang were clapping and cheering. River Rose got up and she walks over to Byron. Byron and River Rose hugged so tight. Byron said, "I knew that I'll be free." River Rose said, "I told you, baby." Byron said, "Now we're happy." Vanessa and her parents came over to the gang. Byron and River Rose looks at Vanessa. The gang stopped and Vanessa is in tears. River Rose pulls away from the hug and Vanessa sobs, "Byron, thank God that you were telling the truth." Byron said, "You're welcome Vanessa and it's the least I can do for having justice for Cynthia." Lorelai said, "My daughter would've been so proud." Bentley said, "You were lucky to cleared your name for the second time." Byron said, "You know me, Mr. Bradford and I lived through a lot of guilt until I finally realized that it wasn't me at all." Frank said, "Exactly Byron, you know that it's not you who did this and it was the both of your exes." Ben said, "At least we know that you told the truth." Jolene said, "We're very proud of you." Vanessa hugs Byron and Byron hugs Vanessa. Stormer said, "C'mon guys, let's go home." Jetta said, "Yeah." The entire friends and families came out of the courthouse to celebrate Byron for planted not guilty.
