Chapter 13: The Proposal

As the two weeks went by, Byron went to the jewelry store to buy River Rose a silver diamond engagement ring size 8. Byron paid for it and he can't wait to propose to River Rose this early for Halloween. On Halloween night at the restaurant, River Rose and Byron are the restaurant in their costumes. River Rose is dressed up as Tracy Turnblad, Byron is dressed up as Totally Kyle aka Kyle Rostensan, Carter is dressed up as John Lennon, Jake is dressed up as MacGyver, Bonnie Jo is dressed up as Dorothy Gale, Bekah is dressed up as Mal, Hans is dressed up as a pirate, Austin is dressed up as Shane Gray, Archie is dressed up as Ducky, Corey is dressed up as Chad Dylan Cooper, Daisy is dressed up as Sadie, Scott is dressed up as Paul McCarthy, and Lexi is dressed up as Kimber. River Rose said, "I feel so different for dressing up as Tracy." Byron said, "But I love it." River Rose said, "You're so wild and psycho." Byron said, "Count me in." River Rose said, "You're such a dork." Byron said, "We'll be dressing up like this for our wedding." River Rose said, "I'm not going to dress up like this for our wedding." Bekah asked, "Does this means that we're going to act very stupid for next month?" Scott said, "I don't know." Jake said, "I honestly can't even even see how that Marissa decided to be a real bitch." Carter said, "Dude, watch your mouth." Jake said, "Oops." River Rose said, "That's why this is a restaurant not school." Jake said, "I think I already knew that." Archie said, "Yeah right, moron." Byron said, "Please wear that wig for our wedding." River Rose said, "No." Byron said, "But I love it." River Rose said, "Baby, I can't wear this wig and it will look silly for our wedding." Lexi said, "Yeah and it won't look right." Bonnie Jo said, "You should pick a theme or your wedding." Byron said, "We're doing a sixties theme." Carter said, "That's a great idea and I can probably sing at your wedding." River Rose said, "You think you wanted me to wear this wig while I wear a wedding dress." Byron said, "Yeah and Totally Kyle is the one to marry Tracy." River Rose said, "You mean that you want Totally Kyle to marry Tracy Turnblad." Byron said, "Yeah and I wanted that with you." River Rose said, "You're the best sweetie." Byron kiss River Rose so much and Corey said, "Wow." Daisy said, "Aww." Byron pulls away and River Rose said, "You just want me to look like I'm from the sixties." Byron said, "Yeah and it makes me want you so much." River Rose said, "Oh sweetie pie." Hans said, "I don't know what are you two up to for this night." Byron said, "I just love my best girlfriend in my life." River Rose said, "You just wanted me." Byron said, "I can't help it and I rather have you in my house without any guys to date you or marry you." River Rose said, "A psycho boyfriend who decided to have the ability to steal me from other guys." Byron said, "You're the only one whose a psycho." River Rose said, "Oh really." Byron said, "Yeah and we can have more kids." Austin said, "You two are weird." River Rose said, "Yeah Byron." Byron playfully growls at River Rose and River Rose smiles. Carter said, "That's what happens when you date our cousin." Jake said, "Yeah and River does have her ways to be funny." Bonnie Jo asked, "Then how did everything went from being all wild up?" Archie asked, "What are you talking about?" Bonnie Jo said, "I saw Marissa's post on Facebook by making her vent." Byron said, "Oh my God." Daisy said, "She's a loser." Corey said, "I honestly can't seem to look at Marissa for the rant video." River Rose asked, "Is that all she got?" Carter said, "Maybe not." Scott said, "Yeah and she feels like she's blaming the people who treated her somewhat bad." Byron said, "That's bullcrap right there and she's the one who treated herself bad to make it feel like she can manipulate me over about our marriage." Daisy said, "Yeah and that's all she ever does to you while we were at the beauty pageant." Jake said, "That's what I thought and I swear that Marissa made this all a setup to River for thinking she can have you back to hook River up with Liam." Byron said, "Oh so that's why she did this to the both of us and I knew that she's doing this for money and attention." River Rose said, "Baby, she's not worth your time and I always stay with you." Byron said, "You still do and I couldn't let go of you. You and I are never ever going to get over with each other." River Rose said, "That's how we are together and I was waiting for the kiss ever since you and Marissa got married." Byron said, "I know baby and it's all my fault for not rejecting the wedding. I would've walked away from the aisle and be with you." River Rose said, "I know and everything that went wrong with me is losing a baby and you. I feel like it's me who never wanted to get help and I should've just give up in the first place." Byron said, "Riv, you never did anything wrong and I don't want you to feel bad. Babe, I loved you ever since and you are my beautiful sweetheart that I ever loved." River Rose said, "You mean that you never gave up on me." Byron said, "I never did and that's why I wanted you back in my life. All my life, I always wanted you and I can't let go of you." River Rose said, "You're so addicted to me." Byron said, "I still do baby girl." Lexi said, "You two are so staying together." Carter said, "Everyone are obsessed with you guys like over Facebook and Instagram." Byron said, "Yeah and Riv is the best girl that I ever dated." River Rose said, "You're the one who I can't let go and I did wear your shirt like last week." Byron said, "I told you that you wanted to and our twins will always think of me a lot." River Rose said, "They still do." Carter said, "I hope you let me babysit the kids." Jake said, "Oh really because the last time you babysit the kids, you were too busy making out with Daisy and I did all of the work." Carter said, "This time will be different." Daisy said, "Carter, you know that's not going to happened because of Brittney." River Rose said, "Yeah Carter." Carter said, "Well fine." Archie said, "Well you have to and they're your little cousins." Carter said, "I knew that." Byron said, "Baby girl, I think we're going to be the best parents ever." River Rose said, "I know we will and I'm really excited to be a mom." Byron said, "At least you are to Brittney and she just loves you so much." River Rose said, "Of course she does and I'm really happy to be her mom." Austin said, "Brittney is actually Cynthia's daughter." Byron said, "I know but Brittney doesn't remembers anything about her mom because she was only a baby." Lexi said, "No way." Scott said, "I guess that's a no." Corey said, "Oh wow." Bonnie Jo said, "You have any other ideas for this night." River Rose said, "I have a better idea." River Rose walks over to the stage and Carter chuckles. Carter said, "She's at it again." The gang looks at River Rose and River Rose said, "From his garage, it's Totally Kyle." River Rose reached her left hand out as it pointed at Byron and everybody clapped for Byron. Byron walks over to the stage and came over to River Rose. Everybody stopped clapping and Byron picks up the electric guitar. Byron said, "Uh one time, I saw a spider and there was a web. So I try to blow it away." Everybody laughs and stopped. Byron said, "So, the spider landed on my face and the spider was all like, 'Aaahhh Kyle.'" Everybody laughs and stopped. Byron said, "Then I was like, 'Aaahhh spider....spider.'" Everybody laughs and stopped. Byron said, "So the spider is still on my face and didn't care." Everybody laughs and stopped. Byron said, "And then I was like okay." River Rose said, "And that's Totally Kyle." Byron said, "Totally." Byron plays his electric guitar and everybody clapped for Byron. Everybody stop clapping and Byron stopped playing the electric guitar as he put it down. Byron said, "This is a special moment that I was waiting for." Byron got down on his one knee and everybody was looking at them. The gang did too and they came over to them. Byron grabbed River Rose's left hand and said, "River Rose Marie Everdeen, you've been the girl of my dreams since we were little kids and I want this to be the night to remember with you." Byron let go of River Rose's left hand and River Rose is in tears. Byron grabbed the engagement ring box out of his left pants pocket and he opens the box. Byron asked, "Will you marry me?" The gang couldn't believe it and John is watching them as he smiles. River Rose sobs, "Yes." Everybody clapped for River Rose and Byron. Byron grabbed the engagement ring out of the box and he grabbed River Rose's left hand. He slid the engagement ring on to River Rose's left ring finger and he got up. Byron wipes River Rose's tears and he kiss her so much. The gang took a picture of them together and it was the only thing that Byron wanted for so long. Byron pulls away and he kisses River Rose so much. Byron pulls away and everybody stops clapping. River Rose said, "Byron, I can't believe that you did this." Byron said, "It was a surprise for you and I wanted this to be special." River Rose said, "You're the best, sweetie." Byron and River Rose hug so much. Byron rubs River Rose's back and Byron said, "I can't believe that you said yes." River Rose said, "I always wanted to say yes and this is what I wanted with you." Byron said, "I will never in my life wanted to get divorce with you and I want this to be perfect." River Rose said, "Babe, I'm so happy to be your fiancé and I knew I would say yes." Byron said, "I'm glad that you did and this is our time for the both of us to get married in three years." River Rose said, "You're the best fiancé that I could ever ask for and being the best father to our kids." Byron said, "I never in my life will let go of you and our kids." River Rose pulls away and said, "Oh baby, you are so crazy over me." Byron said, "I was ready for this because I wanted you and you're my wife in three years." River Rose said, "You can get me started in three years and I will keep you." Byron said, "We're keeping each other safe and I won't leave you." River Rose said, "I won't leave you too." Byron kiss River Rose so much and they're officially engaged. Byron didn't really need Marissa anymore and he only wanted River Rose as his new wife. But, Byron has to wait until River Rose turns seventeen before they get married and he knew that he can handle that.
