Chapter 4: Love's Not Easy

As the next two days came, River Rose is really happy to see herself so happy and Byron is happy to see her back in school. Hans came over to River Rose and said, "Hey beautiful." River Rose said, "Hans." River Rose and Has both hugged. Hans pulls away and said, "I knew you came to California." River Rose said, "Well yeah and my dad lost his job." Hans said, "Man, something is strange about Tennessee." River Rose said, "Yeah and my dad is trying to pay the bills as he can until the IRS came." Hans said, "That's really sad and I'm glad that you're here." River Rose said, "Me too." Hans said, "You should hang out with me." River Rose said, "Sure." Byron knew he was jealous of them together but he knew that he has to stick with the plan. Hans said, "You wanna go somewhere with me." River Rose said, "You can take me and I think we can start the way how we used to." Hans said, "I knew you think so." River Rose said, "Just to say this but you've been looking at me ever since I came here." Hans said, "Because River, you are my ex girlfriend and I haven't seen you since -" River Rose said, "I know and I don't want to talk about it." Hans said, "I know and we were ready for this together." River Rose said, "Maybe it might be different but my parents is not liking how I got pregnant." Hans said, "Well, everyone around this school is wanting to have kids and your parents didn't need to tell you that you're not allowed to have a baby." River Rose said, "I know." Hans asked, "How come you and Byron aren't dating anymore?" River Rose said, "It's a long story." Hans said, "I hope he didn't hurt you." River Rose said, "No he would never." Hans said, "That's good." Carter said, "We're back to normal." Daisy said, "Well I hope you're happy, Carter and that was the most setup plan that you ever done to River." Jake said, "Carter, River loves Byron and she really loves him. You have to stop getting all jealous to Byron and learn to accept them." Carter said, "You think I would give a shit about Byron and River Rose's relationship. Hell no." Daisy said, "You need to stop." Carter said, "Fine." As the hours passed from school, River Rose is at lunch with Hans, Carter, Daisy, and Jake. Byron is alone without River Rose and he missed her a lot. He came over to sit with the gang and Carter said, "Great, new buddy buddy decided to follow us." Jake said, "Carter, shut the hell up and quit going off on Byron. Sorry about Carter, he's been acting like a psycho lately." Byron said, "It's fine, Jake." River Rose said, "I'm really happy that things will go back like it was yesterday." Byron said, "It's completely weird without Jackson here." Daisy asked, "How's he doing?" Byron said, "He's doing great and his treatment should be over until October." Hans said, "That's good and we hope he can make it back to school." Byron said, "I hope so too." River Rose said, "I miss him already." Jake said, "Me too and I wish people would just get long with you." River Rose said, "It's because that I'm new here and I'm not like the others." Daisy said, "They're just jealous of you because of your outfit." River Rose said, "That's true." Carter asked, "Where's your wife?" Byron said, "We don't have the same lunch period together." River Rose said, "Yeah and she has A Lunch." Carter said, "We're B Lunch, right." Daisy said, "Yeah." Jake said, "If you would've pay attention to the schedule then maybe you wouldn't be busy on your damn phone for looking up on Facebook and try to friend someone." Carter said, "Well I'm sorry for not listening to Mr. Hall over about the lunch schedule depends on which class that we have." Hans asked, "How did you get tattoos?" Byron said, "My cousin made this tattoos and I even have them on my back." River Rose said, "I was going to ask you about that." Byron said, "It's okay baby girl, I guess I should've told you about them but at least Hans pointed out." Carter said, "So Byron, you always wanted to be a dad." Byron said, "Yeah and I really wanted a special girl to have kids with me." Carter said, "Well I didn't know that." River Rose said, "You'll get her back." Byron kiss River Rose's cheek and pulls away. Daisy said, "Aww." Hans asked, "How would anyone get too weird around here for having kids?" River Rose said, "I have no idea." Carter said, "You probably have kids by anyone." Jake said, "Yeah but we'll figure out later on." Byron said, "You know that I really miss a special girl of mine that I slept with." Jake asked, "Did you slept with River Rose?" Byron said, "I did and I don't care what everyone thinks. River is the perfect one to sleep with but you can't say that she's not the wrong girl to sleep with me." River Rose said, "Nope and I miss that already." Carter said, "You are way too addicted to River Rose and all of this has got to stop." Byron asked, "What are you talking about?" Carter said, "Your marriage isn't going well because you ended up going over to River's house and slept with her." Byron said, "Look Carter, River was heartbroken because you made this setup plan to have the both of us to break up and this is all your fault." River Rose asked, "Why would you do this to me, Carter? Why?" Carter said, "River, I like you." River Rose said, "You know what Carter, I won't have a chance to be with Byron because you just want to date me and wanting Byron to marry Marissa." Daisy said, "Carter." Jake asked, "Carter, what the hell is wrong with you? Do you understand that River went through a break up because of you?" Carter said, "She was better off without him." River Rose said, "That's it, Carter. I'm done." River Rose got up and so did Byron, Hans, and Daisy as they walked out of the cafeteria. Jake said, "Carter, you need to apologize to Byron and River Rose after what you did to them." Carter said, "No I won't and River Rose is listening to the dumbass." Jake said, "I want you to stop and learn to get along with Carter." Carter said, "Whatever." Jake said, "I mean it, Carter and you can lose your job because of your attitude." Carter said, "Alright fine." River Rose and Byron are walking home together. Byron said, "Riv, I want you to know that I still love you and promise me if things go wrong between you and Hans, just come and find me." River Rose said, "You know I will." Byron hugs River Rose and River Rose hugs Byron so much. They both knew how much they love each other and it was hard on the both of them. As the next day on Saturday, River Rose is making out with Hans in the car and Hans couldn't let go of River Rose. Jake parks the car and asked, "Why are you making me to spy on them?" Carter said, "You think that River Rose is happy with her now second boyfriend and you know that I'm the perfect guy for her." Jake said, "River Rose got rejected by you and she wanted to date you but Daisy showed up." Carter said, "I hope you think this is funny to you and I will make sure that Daisy doesn't come back to my life again." Jake said, "Watch your words like that, Carter and River Rose is a sweetheart to have a chance of dating guys. You are just jealous because you're not single like Hans, Byron before he was married, and Liam." Carter said, "Fine. You win." Hans pulls away and said, "You think that Carter became a psycho." River Rose said, "He's not my problem at all and I believe he's jealous of you boys for dating me." Hans said, "Yeah and it's stupid for a guy like him to think he can have you." River Rose said, "That doesn't make him special at all." Hans said, "Yeah and he's never worth it for any girls to date him." River Rose said, "Yeah and I feel like he might be finding girls around the high school to have us to breakup while I can get all crushed for good." Hans said, "Oh my God." River Rose said, "I know and he needs to stop." Hans said, "Yeah and we'll figured things out together." River Rose said, "Yeah and let's get out of here before someone will find us." Hans said, "Great idea." Hans drove off and Jake said, "We need to go home." Carter said, "Okay." Jake drove off and the next week of school Monday, River Rose is feeling a little awkward for dating her ex as she can't seem to get over Byron. Hans is not in the school because he moved to Florida with his family and now, River Rose is all alone again. Liam came over to River Rose and River Rose looks at Liam. River Rose said, "Hi." Liam said, "Hi. I'm Liam." River Rose said, "I'm River Rose." Liam asked, "Are you the new girl?" River Rose said, "Yes I am and I think you heard about me." Liam said, "Well of course I do and you're in my English class with Mrs. Mills." River Rose said, "Oh that's right and you're the one who spilled candy on the floor." Liam said, "That's one way to explained about open a bag of candy." River Rose said, "Of course you do and I think it's awesome." Liam said, "You are so perfect for me." River Rose said, "I might be." Liam moves River Rose's hair to the right and he push her against the locker. Byron saw what Liam did to River Rose and said, "Hey." Liam looks at Byron and asked, "What do you want?" Byron came over to them and said, "Stop hurting River Rose." Liam said, "I'm not hurting her." The gang came over to them as Daisy grabbed River Rose from Liam and said, "Yes you are and you are so rude." Liam said, "No I'm not and River knew that I was just playing with her." Carter asked, "Are you sure that was called playing?" Jake said, "You are so rude to River and if you ever happened to mess with her again, your ass is going to be kicked like right out the door." Liam said, "You can't expect me to listen to you guys." Byron said, "Go ahead and try us, Liam. You're not allowed to see River Rose again." Marissa came over and asked, "Is everything okay?" Liam said, "Everything is fine, Marissa and I was playing with River Rose." Daisy said, "No you wasn't and you even scare her for the way how you push her." Carter said, "I told you that you're a liar and I'll kick your ass." Liam said, "River Rose isn't scare." Daisy said, "Yes she is and that's why she's not saying anything." River Rose is shaking and Marissa asked, "Are you okay?" Carter said, "Oh my God." Byron said, "Riv." Jake said, "River, please say something." River Rose passed out on the floor and Jake slapped Liam in the face. Byron grabbed his cell phone and called 911 for emergency. Byron said, "Hello. We're at Mason Creek High and a female student just passed out. Please hurry." Byron looks at River Rose and he knew that his ex girlfriend is in danger. The paramedics came and the whole school are watching them. Scott asked, "What happened to River?" Lexi said, "She just passed out because of Liam." The paramedics put River Rose on the cubicle and took her out of the school. The gang watch them for putting River Rose in the hospital and Byron felt like he wish he wasn't married to Marissa. Now, Byron is coming up with a plan and he will win to have River Rose back to his heart. Meanwhile at the hospital, River Rose is sleeping and she wish Byron is here with him. Meanwhile at school, Byron left the school with the others and Liam didn't want to come until the police came over to him. Byron really wanted to see River Rose and he loves her so much. The gang went to the hospital to see River Rose and Byron came in to the room. Byron sat down on a chair right next to River Rose and he hold on to River Rose's left hand. River Rose felt Byron's hand and she woke up. Byron said, "Hey beautiful." River Rose looks at Byron and said, "Hey sweetie." Byron said, "You feeling alright." River Rose said, "I'm fine sweetie and I don't remember what happen." Byron said, "Baby girl, Liam pushed you to the locker and I think you must've hit your head pretty hard." River Rose said, "Byron, please don't make me stay with him and I can't do this." Byron said, "I know and it's making me angry every time that I don't want to be with Marissa. I don't want her and I wanted you." River Rose said, "Byron, just leave her." Byron said, "I will, baby girl and soon, we'll convince your parents that we're having kids." River Rose said, "You can have me all you want." Byron kiss River Rose so much and he couldn't let River Rose go no matter what.
