"Another button... Thanks for letting me know." I tell him.

Hm... I wonder... what if we need to press a certain amount of buttons?

"No problem, Shuichi! Well, I'm going to go help Himiko with her... what was it? Magic tri- I mean Magic..."

After saying that, Keebo walks out of the room.

Well I guess I should find the button.

I tell Kaito about my discovery and run to the Ultimate Detectives lab.

He met me there and we found the button on top of the table.

"What're you waiting for? Press it!" He shouted.

I step carefully towards it and press the button.

But, nothing happened.

"What a bummer..." Kaito sighs. "Well, guess we should keep looking?"

"Yeah... I'll look outside this time." I tell him, hoping to find something out there he missed.

I run outside and notice something that wasn't there before. It was a small triangular house.

I tried to open it, but the door was locked.

"Uh, Kaito, I think I found something." I say through the walkie talkie. "Have you seen a key?"

"A key? Uhh... hm... nope..." He replies, probably feeling bad.

I stand there for a few seconds, and Kaito speaks up again. "Hold on wait... there's something in my jacket pocket. Ah! Shuichi, I think it's a key? But how do I have it...?"

"Nevermind that! Bring it outside!" I exclaim.

A minute passes by, and Kaito comes out of the school running with a key in his hand.

"Woahhh! What is that?"

I take the key from him and unlock the door....

"It works."

"Wow, you really are the Ultimate Detective!" He says with a thumbs up.

I blush and go inside of the house.

A pink liquid in a bottle is on the floor. Wait... could it be?

"Shuichi, you're so good at this! Quick, let's give the antidote to Kokichi!"

I follow his orders and we get to the hydraulic press room, spotting Kokichi's unconscious body.

I carefully open the bottle and pour all the liquid into Kokichi's mouth, which was kind of weird, but I didn't care.

I watch as Kokichi's eyes flicker open.

He sits there for a minute while groaning, until he eventually gets a word out.

"Wha...? Shuichi?" He asks.

"Hey... you're up! Um... Haha...." Kaito says, scratching his head.

"Wai... T-This isn't heaven? Is this hell?" Kokichi whispers to himself.

"No... you're alive. You're not dead." I tell him.

Kokichi sits there for a minute looking at both of us. "Wait, huh?! B-But-"

"Shuichi threatened to kill himself if you died. So, I gave him the antidote, and we found one for you too."

Kokichi groans in pains and looks at us like we're crazy.

"If you wanna... get some rest, I understand." I say, backing up.

"Why? Why did you risk your life for me, Shuichi? I'm the freaking mastermind!" He yells softly, not understanding the situation.

"He found the note you dropped." Kaito replies.

"But why Shuichi?! W-Why did you try and save me? We could've stopped the k-killing game and you and all your f-friends would-!" 

He stops for a second as me and Kaito wait in silence.

"But... you're my friend too, Kokichi. I want to escape with you too. I want to end this killing game with you."

Kokichi sniffs, because I assume he's trying not to cry.

"Whatever... my whole plan is ruined. I-I'll just go..." He says quietly, speed walking out of the room.

It's kinda weird... to see Kokichi like this. His face looks red and he looks like he's gonna sob, but he's just keeping it in.

"N-Now I feel bad..." Kaito says to himself.

"Don't. You don't want him to die right?" I ask.

"No... but I mean... if it was to end the killing game-" He paused. "Nevermind."

"We should get the others. Tell them what happened?" I ask Kaito.

"Maybe... but I don't know if Maki'll be happy. I think she wants Kokichi to die." He replies.

I shrug my shoulders and we hurry out the room to hopefully find Kokichi and do something about him.

Just as we were about to walk out the door, we see a horrible sight.
