Christmas Eve - 17 -

(y/n)'s POV

You got home from work and stretched your arms "ow..that training hurt my sholder. That kid's got some skills, though" when UA asked you if you could train a particuler student from class 1A, you agreed. She was a 16 year old girl with an explosion quirk. She reminded you of Katsuki. She was an ass and hard to teach seance she wouldn't listen to anyone. The staff of UA thought you would be perfect to teach and train her seance you have delt with Katsuki for so long and knew how to handle that quirk and attitude more than anyone. You met her today and she automaticly set of an explosion, sending a peice of scrap metal flying twards your sholder, hitting it. it didn't hurt at the time so you just laughed it off. but now all you want is a hot bath to relax your muscles. so thats exactly what you did. Katsuki was dealing with a villen attack so you had the house to yourself. You put on jeans and a T-shirt and went to the store. when you came back home, Katsuki was sitting on the couch "hey, babe" you say as you close the front door behind you with a few bags in your hand "how was your day?" Katsuki stands up and takes half the bags from you and gives you a kiss "it was fine. how was training?" he asks following you into the kitchen "oh, it was great! she reminds me of you when we were in 1A" you giggle "oh yeah? why's that?" he asks. "well, she's a pain in the ass." you smirk as you start to put the grociries away "she's pretty strong. too bad she doesn't use her brain when faighting. oh yeah, her quirk are explosions" he smiles, listining to you "none of the teachers could handle her, eh? so they called you to do the work?" he chuckles. you roll your eyes "none of the other heros couldn't handle the villen, so they called you to do the work?" you ask, flipping it on him. he laughs and kisses you "I'm going to take a shower" you sigh happily when he leaves "how did I get so lucky?.." you shake your head, smiling. you finish and head into your room and take out you guitar. you sit down on the bed and start playing. And you sing

And I say 'You're heart is so big, and your mind's so alive, you have passion and freedom and vision and drive, you have so much to give and you give it with care, you have helped me to heal, and there's nowhere I won't go with you.' And he's holding me, now, even tighter, and he's breathing me in And he's telling me again that he loves me, and he's tracing his fingertips over my skin And I'm happier now than I've ever been, and I'm hoping this feeling won't die And if he says he's just some guy, that's fine, but the truth is, he's mine My sweetheart, my love. Katsuki's POV

when I get out of the shower, I hear (y/n) playing the guitar. I walk twards (y/n) and my room and listened to him sing. he was singing Just Some Guy by Anthony Rapp. i've listened to the song when we were in a relationship before, but hearing (y/n) sing it, it hit different. I put my hand in my hoodie pocket, took a deep breath and opened the door.

(y/n)'s POV

Katsuki opens the bedroom door "hey babe.." he says. you look up from your guitar "oh. hey, love" you greet him with a smile "uh...do you want to go out? we havn't really been on a date for a while.." he asks. you put you guitar down and smile up at him "yeah, I'd love to. do you have somewhere in mind?" you ask him, standing up. Katsuki takes you to the Christmas tree in the middle of town and put a gift down under the tree. it was Christmas Eve. it's a tradision to put gifts under this tree on Chrismas Eve for the orphans. you look over at Katsuki. he's staring at the tree and he looks nervous "Hey, babe, are you alright? you look nervous.." you ask him, shattering his thoughts. he looks back at you, slightly surprised "what? yeah, i'm fine" he tells you with a smile. you stare at him for a moment, deciding if you want to let it go or push it. you nod and grab his hand and lean agenst him, happily. he takes a deep breath after a minute "actually.." he starts and turns to face you. He grabbs both of your hands in his and holds them. you look at him, curiously. "I.." he sighs, gets on one knee and looks up at you "(y/n)..as soon as I saw you 5 years ago, I felt my heart race. when we faught, you didn't hit me back when I hit you. you were never afraid of me and never hated me. you were nothing but nice to me. everytime I saw you, my heart skipped a beat. I wanted to be by your side all the time. I still do. everyday when I wake up next to you, I think to myself 'this is the boy I want to spend every second with' everyday, my love for you grows stronger..." you start to tear up and everyone is staring at you. Katsuki retches into his pocket and takes out a small black box "(y/n).." he opens the box and presents a beutiful dimond ring "(y/n), will you marry me?" he asks you. your cheeks burn and you feel warm tears run down your cheeks. your so surprised and happy, all you can do is nod with a huge, goofy grin on your face. you nod more surely "yes. yes! I will!" you jump into his arms and kiss him. you hear cheering and when you look at Katsuki again, he's crying with a smile. you hold his face in your hands, wiping some of his tears with the pad of your thumbs "I love you so much, Katsuki" he puts the ring on your finger and you hug him. people congradulate you two the whole time your there.

Time skip to when you get home

your at home, sitting with Katsuki on the couch, watching TV when the news channel turns on
"Juzo News interupts this program to bring you some interesting and happy news about the pro hero, Bakushinchi, also known as Ground Zero and our favorite detective, (y/n) (l,n), are now engaged! we receved over 100 videos and pictures of the proposal in the last hour. My name is Taneo Tokuda, congradulations on the engagement and have a great night everyone"
You giggle a little "it's only been an hour and it's already on the news" Katsuki scoops you in his arms and chuckles "what can I say? Japan loves you, even Taneo said you were our favorite!" you smile a kiss him. your phone rings and you pick up "hello?"
"(y,n)! it's your brother, Felix! congradulations!!"

"Felix..? you called..to say congradulations?.." you were not expecting him to want anything to do with you

"well yeah! your my brother, of corse i'd call you! I love you, big bro!"

"Felix..." hot tears sting your eyes at his words "I l-love you, t-too, brother.."

"oh! I gotta go, my wife is calling me. byebye, I'll call back soon, k?"
he hangs up. you look at Katsuki, tears running down your cheeks. "what? whats wrong? who was that?" he asks, holding you. "M-my brother, Felix called me...t-to congradulate us. And h-he said he l-loved me" he smiles at you and hugs you "thats amazing, (y/n)"
