Prologue

Waiting For The End

I'm going to kill that basterd.

The dark streets were more deserted than usual, tonight. Hugging my suit jacket closer to my body, I speed walked down the innocent street. The 'click click' of my stilettos didn't ease the rage coursing through my body. Damn him! Stopping on the sidewalk, I pushed my hands through my hair frustrated.

Walking out of the damn place while the big boss was visiting wasn't one of the best moves I made, neither was breaking my mangers wrist. Thinking back on it, I grinned on the shock look on his face. That'll teach him to keep his hands to himself, the creep.

I was getting tired of that place anyway, flipping my long dark hair over my shoulder, I crossed the street to Finn's Pub, hoping to relieve my anger.

I was greeted with a chorus of  'Harrah's and other slurred sayings, as men raised their glasses to me. An instant smile on my face.

Walking to the bar, I sat on a stool, waiting for Finn to come on over.

The place had a family/bar/stage/dance floor for those wild enough to get down. Tables scattered with drinks, men occupied many of them. Of course it was a Friday night, so why not?

A drink was placed before me, not wasting a second I took a swing and saw Finn give me a grin in reply. His dark green eyes showing a bit of mischief for this early in the night.

His hand on the table, he places his head on top of then staring at me from the table.

"Whats wrong, puppet? You came inside looking to kill." Ouch.

Shooting him a murderous look, he shook in mock fear.

Sighing, I told him " I quit, Lord&Slave services." A little nickname myself and my fellow co-workers use to call the place.

Lane & Sterret  Companies, was the firm I worked in to help pay up for my college tuition. The company was a huge management that invested in several businesses around the world. L&S are BIG names in the world of corporations. Working their the first week I got a handle on things, after my classes I would go off to work, and later head home. The next week, the manger arrived from a vacation and couldn't keep away from me. Always calling me in his office for the most pathetic excuse just to see me. Can you say, Creeper?

(Flashback)

I was cleaning his desk one day when he snuck up behind me, placing his arms around my waist. Frozen, he took the chance to place his face near my neck. I stepped away from him, shoving him back, running out of the office. My friend in the firm Sarah, followed me as I ran to the ladies room. Confiding in her , I told her what happened.

She nodded in understanding. Telling me, he does that to all the new interns, harassing them, later threatening, which later he did. On the day, our big boss came to visit. Lane, not Sterret. Sterret was on a business trip to Tokyo. Lane had arrived, with his many men in black, and blue tooths attached to there ears. Patrolling the place with a warriors will.

The Creep had called before Lane had arrived wishing to speak to me. Then he pounced on me. Shrieking we fell to the floor, grabbing my hands he tried to pull them over my head.

Kicking him where it hurts, he grunted in pain, weakening the hold he had in my hands. Finally the doors burst open. Gasps are heard, outraged voices as well. I wrap my legs around him flipping him on his back, my hand reach down to his wrist, and twist. Hearing a sickening crack.
