mary anne saves the day.

"I THINK I'M TALLER THEN YOU NOW." Daphne teased Claudia at the club meeting, as it was running slow.

"You've always been taller than me, Daffy." Claudia smiled, looking away from the magazine the two were reading together.

"I know, but look how tall my shoes are!" Daphne giggled.

Claudia looked behind her and saw Daphne's shoes, as the phone started ringing.

Stacey went over to it and grabbed it.

"Hello, babysitters club!"

"They're not that tall." Claudia laughed.

"Yes they are!" Daphne defended in a fake-hurt tone, putting a hand to her heart.

"She wants to talk to you, Mary Anne!" Stacey smiled, handing the phone to the cute girl.

"Fine, stand up then." Claudia smirked.

Daphne rolled and then sat up, lifting herself off the bed.

She stood and did a twirl, her brunette hair flying with her.

"You are so not!" Claudia giggled.

"Okay, I'll settle this." Stacey smiled.

Claudia got up and then stood back-to-back with Daphne, as Stacey measured them.

"Nope. Daphne's a little bit taller now."

"Yes!" Daphne cheered.

"They're not too tall though!" Claudia continued defending.

"Give it up, sugar. You lost." Daphne smirked, sitting down on the bed again.

"I don't..."

The two girls looked over at Mary Anne.

"I mean yes! I'm free."

The club continued to stare at her in confusion.

"I think."

"What are you doing?!" Kristy mouthed.

"But the thing is, I belong to a club of babysitters. So I'd have to check if any of them-"

Mary Anne abruptly stopped talking.

"What's your address?"

"Wow." Kristy whispered.

Daphne didn't see the harm. Whenever she got to the meetings early, Claudia would let the two steal some babysitting jobs for themselves.

Kristy stood up and went to Claudia's bed, sitting down on it.

"Thank you." Mary Anne finished, hanging up the phone.

She turned towards the club.

"I shouldn't of done that."

"Clients aren't supposed to pick their sitters, Mary Anne! That goes against the clubs entire mission statement!" Kristy exclaimed.
