DAPHNE KNOCKED ON THE KISHI'S DOOR, and it opened to reveal Claudia.

"Hi, Daffy!" Claudia smiled, as the light haired brunette walked into the house.

"Oh my gosh, Claudia, you have no idea how excited I am that it's summer now! It makes me so happy." Daphne giggled, slipping off her dirty shoes.

"Me too! But I'm sad we can't hang out for a week!" Claudia whined.

"Me too! Why do you have to leave?" Daphne whined.

"Because of stupid, boring Vermont." Claudia scoffed, as the two headed towards up stairs.

"Some parts of Vermont are cool." Daphne shrugged, as the two went into Claudia's room.

The raven-haired girl plopped down onto her bed.

"Like what?"

"The..."

Daphne looked around the room.

"Streetlights."

"Of course, streetlights." Claudia giggled.

"What? We hung out by them on Monday. That was cool." Daphne giggled, sitting on the purple couch.

A silence fell between the two.

"Can you do something for me while I'm gone?" Claudia asked.

Daphne looked up, nodding.

"So...I need to make about $300 by Saturday for my art camp for supplies, and I only have $200 right now, so I was wondering if you could give me like...$50 and I could pay you back later-"

"Honey, I'm gonna get you $200." Daphne interrupted.

"Daphne, I just need $50-"

"I said I would do it!" Daphne interrupted.

The girl stood up and went towards Claudia, leaning towards her with their noses almost touching.

"But you owe me, babygirl? Okay?" Daphne smirked.

Claudia nodded, her face flushing red.

"Nice." Daphne smiled, pecking the girls forehead with her soft lips and patting her hair.

"SEA CITY!" Stacey smiled at the club meeting that day, "One week, eight Pikes, and two babysitters."

"I can't believe you guys are going!" Claudia exclaimed.

"I can't believe your dad is letting you go!" Kristy added.

"Yeah, how is Richard taking it?" Dawn asked Mary Anne.
