People are on the streets
We failed as a community
Posers walk all around
Acting as if they own the ground.
Never letting anyone sleep
We failed as a community
People are dying infront of you
Day by day x2
What do you do there?
You stand and stare x2
Never letting anyone breathe.
We failed as a community
No old book will save us now
Dust collecting on the workers brow
Underpaid and over worked
And the inevitable fear of poverty lurks
Lurks in the shadows of student debt
And followed by a mystery key
We failed as a community.
