Chris Evans

Another day of filming where you filmed in winter, in the rain. What better way to catch the flu?

You had to stop filming and go home to take care of yourself.

You could say that Chris was taking care of you. As for Dodger, he never let you go. He would lie at your feet all day long, or he would pick up Chris when you had a coughing fit.

That day you had hardly slept at all because of the fever and your stuffy nose, which made you even more nervous. By mid-morning, Chris saw that something was wrong. So he approached your silhouette wrapped in three plaids lying on the couch. He started by putting his hand on your forehead.

"The fever seems to have subsided a bit." he said in a soft voice. You looked at him with bright, tired eyes before you sneezed. He looked at you gently, kindly.

'I'm fed up with this disease! you said, your nose stuck.

-I know, honey, but it will pass, don't worry.

-When I think that I'm supposed to be on the set normally...

-I know, I know, I know...

-Do you think they took someone else? »

You spent your days worrying and asking Chris questions. You know he's angry about it, but you can't help it, you're very worried about your role. Chris, patient like you've never seen him before, was answering your questions as best he could, while taking care of you.

You are returning from a particularly... noisy mission. Even your headsets didn't allow any communication between team members, and you had to shout into the headsets so that the others could hear something, and you had to repeat a good ten times to finally understand what you were trying to say.

Results of the races... you had caught a sore throat, and to top it all off, you had a loss of voice. You weren't the only one. Wanda and Clint had also momentarily lost the use of their voices.

Fury had ordered the whole team to take a good two weeks off so that the three sick people could get better.

And who was in charge of taking care of you?

Steve of course!

And we can say that as far as taking the medication, the temperature and self care were concerned, he was quite annoying, but it was for your own good. At least he couldn't get sick, and he was sure he didn't have a mission for the weeks you were recovering, so you could enjoy your darling all day long, and you appreciated that.

Unfortunately, since you were sick and had to stay in bed, there was nothing you could do to piss Steve off, and that was too sad.

After a week and three days, you were almost back on your feet. Your voice was slowly coming back. For the moment it sounded like you were whispering and you couldn't get on the high notes, or at least when you tried it, it made Tony and Wanda laugh. Steve was always so careful. He wouldn't let you leave the HQ for even five minutes, always made sure you didn't have a fever and always took your medication.

While he was taking a shower, you took the opportunity to go outside to get some fresh air in the courtyard of the HQ. You had just closed the front door behind you and someone was coming out on your heels.

"Y/N please come in".

That was Steve. With a small sigh of defeat, you went back inside.

You wondered how much longer he was going to treat you like a little girl.
