Chapter 2: Disappearance

Dust POV:

"Killer! Killer!" I pause to breathe for a second. 'Dammit, Cross, then Horror, and now Killer,' "FUCK!" I shout kicking a rock and instantly regretting it. 'Ow, fucker,' Bending over, I grip my foot in pain. 'Oh gods guys please don't be dusted.'

I pant for breath, I've been searching for almost an hour for him in the last AU he was in. Suddenly hearing a twig snap behind me, I spin around, my eyelights darting from tree to tree. "Dust, surrender or I will kill you," I hear a familiar voice sound behind me. Whirling around I see Ink standing there holding an unconscious Killer by the hood. "You, I'll kill you!" I shout forming a sharp bone in my hand to stab him in the chest.

Groaning, I clutch a huge fresh crack in my skull as I look up at Ink, my vision blurring. 'How the fuck is he so fucking strong,' I think as my conscious fades.

Nightmare's POV:

Sighing loudly, I flop onto my bed. Scritching Raven's chin I look up at the ceiling of my room with tears starting to fill my eyesockets as anxiety starts creeping up on me. 'W-where are you Error, please hurry, it's been almost two hours.' I think as the tears start flowing. "Please don't leave me here alone Error, p-please," I start sobbing "pathetic, I-I'm so fucking pathetic" I reach over to my nightstand and unlock the droar, grabbing the switchblade.

Standing over the sink watching the blood drip down my fresh cuts, I hear the front door open and quickly wrap bandages around my arms and roll down my sleeves and charge down the stairs and launch myself into Error's arms. "Whoah! Nightmare!" I grip onto Error's coat tightly as tears start falling again. "Did you find any of them?" I ask into error's chest, getting tears on his shirt. Error pushes me off lightly, "r-right sorry" I mumble. "No, I didn't, I have no clue where they are" I look away gripping my arm. "Nightmare, did you?" He asks looking at the piece of bloodied cloth hanging from my sleeve. "I-I'm sorry, that I'm so fucking pathetic and w-weak, why do you guys even want me here," I manage to hiccup through my tears. "Nightmare, Nightmare, you're not pathetic or weak, and we want you here because we love you, no matter what," he says pulling me into a hug as I sob into his chest. "s-sorry, I'm getting your s-shirt w-wet," I say, embracing the hug, he laughs softly and hugs me tighter.

CRASH

"W-what was that?!" I escape Error's hug and look to where the crash come from. "What the-?" I see a long white feathered dragon with black spots and stripes, covered in blood and paint. "Hide, quickly!" I say realizing why it has red paint on its body, clearly burning its scales. We hide in the living room hiding behind the couch but peeking over to see what was going on.

"Shifter! You will stand down and pay for your crimes against the multiverse!" I see Ink getting a red paint attack ready. "What the fuck did I even do!?" It shouts at Ink. 'A Shifter? I thought they were all killed in the war' I think looking over my shoulder again. "You were going to kill that monster you were supposedly 'healing'!" Ink sends a wave of red paint towards them

"I wasn't going to kill him! You monsters are all the same,! The Shifter empire should have won the war! But you monsters cheated!" The dragon tries to dodge and screams in pain as the wave catches them on the wing.

"And how did we cheat exactly!" Ink dodges a claw swipe.

"You used bio-weapons on us! You destroyed our communities, killed the already weak, and drove us to near extinction!" They breathe a huge ice blast at Ink.

"It was necessary!" Ink yells back slashing at the back of their head, knocking them to the ground with a loud thud.

Silence.

"Gotcha,"

Before I know it, he bashes me on the back of the head sending the world into darkness.
