Chapter 10: The Past

(i didn't really know how to write this and whenever I tried to start I couldn't write, so that's also why it took so long to get out.)

Narrator POV

It was love at first sight. Nightmare fell hard for Hate as soon as he met him. Beautiful, charming, funny, and attractive in general.

He confessed his love under a sakura tree, which Hate accepted and they started getting together.

It was perfect.

But that didn't last long.

Hate started isolating Nightmare from Error and his brother. (This was when it was only Error and him in the group) Shouted at Nightmare whenever he got mad, and other toxic things...

Nightmare didn't realize he was in a toxic relationship until he got pregnant with his first child. He didn't tell Hate, because he was afraid of what he would do if he found out.

He managed to get a hold of Error, and told him everything that had happened with him and Hate. Nightmare snuck out a lot so that Error could take him to Outertale.

But one day Hate found out that Nightmare had been talking with Error and flipped out, destroying his phone and raping him as a punishment.

Afterwards, Nightmare stole Hate's phone to call Error, because his pregnancy was getting more and more obvious, and Hate had found out about it.

Error came that night and got Nightmare out of Hate's house.

Sometime after, Nightmare gave birth to a male skeleton. Nightmare asked Error to hide the child from him and Hate, because he didn't want Hate to find the child or force the answer out of him.

Error took the child away and hid him in a not well-known AU.

Nightmare never saw Hate or his child ever again after, letting his mind rest.
