I got on the train to Hogwarts with Ginny and Hermione we search around in a bit of a panic checking the different compartments where could Harry and Ron be?
They weren't on the train. In defeat I gave a sigh panic filled my thought as I sat down by myself.

I never really liked company so it was good to get a break. Sadly as soon as I shut my eyes I jumped awake as of the blonde prat I seen at the book shop slamming the compartment door open

"I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy you are?"
his hand out stretched even though he was clearly an ass it'd cause more trouble if I was rude so I shook it "Emily Dursley"
I replied going to turn away indicating I wanted to be left alone my dark brown hair falling off my shoulder blocking him from view

"you're blood status?"
He smirked. Luckily Harry discussed how muggles are viewed by some wizarding families so I decided to play off what I could "does it matter when you're related to Harry potter?"
I whipped my head to face him my eyes glaring waiting for him to try anything. A disgusted look entered his face he knew I was a Muggle I guess he thought I'd give him another response "you're not very gryffindor are you?"
he huffed almost as if loosing interest in teasing me. I didn't care to ask what he meant by that I just wanted to be alone.

He had genuine curiousity on his face as his eyes darted around as if seeing if anyone noticed his presence then it hit me....
"scared to talk to muggles Malfoy?"
A smirk now playing on my face "be a shame if your friends found out who you was associating with"
His face turned from curiousity to humiliated anger
"watch it Dursley I'm not someone you want to be on wrong side of" he hissed slamming the compartments door storming down the compartment. Finally I could be left alone.

When we got close to Hogwarts Ginny caught up to me followed by a rather loopy girl Luna. She was rather interesting and had lovely hair I was rather jealous of. As I scurried into my uniform falling over a couple times as of my unsteady footing I took my seat back with them.

"Im hoping I'm a gryffindor it would be terrible if I was any other house all my family are gryffindor!" Ginny rambled as she nervously played with her hair "I bet it's also as that's Harry's house" I giggled as she became as red as her hair.
Luna stayed quite as she looked out window I doubt she's be a gryffindor so maybe I'd be in her house "I don't think I'll end up in gryffindor ....." I sighed following Luna's gaze "I've been told I don't act like them" I didn't want to look at Ginny fearing she would stop associating with me as of my answer.As soon as the train stopped we looked at each other we were here my first step into a new world, a new chance Hogwarts.

When I was greeted by Hagrid I tried to look around as if to go unnoticed clearing behind Ginny who I assumed was stretching her neck to see the giant man.
I couldn't avoid him as I thought though

"ah Emily Dursley ?firs year I see?" I nodded shuffling my feet avoiding Hagrid's gaze "hope it goes well for you " he said causing me to glance up with curiousity his smile stretched from ear to ear and he wasn't as scary as I assumed from first meeting. So to stop looking silly I took my side next to Ginny and thanked him. He bellowed that's we all followed him so I carefully made my down a steep cramped pathway.

Looking around I completely forgot where we were going just comfortable being outside until I seen all the rows of boats resting on the shore. Only 4 people to a boat Hagrid instructed so me, Ginny, Luna and a random scared sheepish kid with dark black hair decided to sit with us he didn't talk at all the entire boat ride nerves clearly got to him. It was beautiful the lake was cold and crisp against my hand and the the atmosphere was calming could this go on forever?
Sadly it couldn't as Hagrid's massive hands that could probably hold 4 cups banged against a heavy oak door.....this was it holding my breath I walked inside everything was going to be different.
