"My cure? What are you talking about, Jemma?"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about, we hid a stash of it after we saved her."

Then it hit him.

He knew exactly what she was reaching for.

"That's of alien descent, we don't even know if it will work!"

"But it worked on Coulson and Skye and many more people, Fitz!"

She continued yelling, fumbling around for it.

"You're already dead. What more damage could it do?"

She was right, and he hated it. She was risking everything for him.

He nodded, "Okay. Keep looking."

She did as he wished and continued searching.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" She asked, walking towards a different cabinet.

"I could never find the courage to tell you and we were heading into death, seemed like the right time."

She let a small, and sarcastic, chuckle and turned to face him.

"I've felt the same way for a long time, Fitz. You should've told me, things would've went differently."

He couldn't believe it.

"But, the biologists are presently working on your body for funeral arrangements and we must hurry. So, where is it?"

He shrugged his shoulders.

"You hid it, told me it was somewhere nobody would ever find it."

She held up a finger and let out a small "ah" before running out the door.

She reached her bunk and opened her side table drawer.

"You hit it in a nightstand, come on, Jemma!"

She pulled out a pen that he had given her long ago, and broke it into pieces.

Out came a small syringe with the cure in it.

"No way, let's go!"

She began to run and they, finally, reached the hospital.

Fitz was on her trail and she stopped, causing him to bump into her.

"What the hell? Why'd you stop?"

She turned around, "I can't just barge in there and demand to inject you."

He threw his arms up, "Yeah, you can! They're dissecting my body as we speak!"

Jemma nodded, "You're right."

They ran through the hospital doors and down a million different hallways before she found it.

"Here!" She yelled as Fitz follow right behind her.

She burst through the door.

"Move out of my way!" Everyone stepped away and she injected the cure into him.

"What was that, Agent Simmons? You're not allowed to inject any chemicals into patients without permission."

His body started to convulse and Jemma's lip quivered.

"No, Fitz! I thought I fixed it!"

Another doctor, a female who looked younger than Simmons, appeared in the room.

"What in the hell did you inject in him?"

Simmons looked up and gritted her teeth.

"GH-325."
