(Zach's POV)
Today was my girlfriend Hope's birthday and I wanted to get her something that she really wanted. I know she wants a puppy because she's been talking about puppies and how she wants one a lot lately. Hey baby what is the one thing you in this world for your birthday I texted her. I really really really want a puppy baby she texted me back. Okay baby I texted back. I go to the pet store and I walk over to the puppies. Hope said something about wanting a golden doddle.
(Hope's POV) at home
Zach texted me and was asking me about what I want for my birthday. I've been talking about wanting to get a golden doodle. It's making me wonder what he's doing.
(Zach's POV)
I ask one of the workers if they had a golden doodle and they showed me the way to the golden doodle's. I look at all the puppies and see this one puppy that catches my eyes. The puppy was smaller then all the others. "Can I have the small one in the corner please" I ask the worker. "Sure thing" the worker said. The worker grabs the puppy and hands it to me. I carry the dog around the store while I shop for things for the puppy. I got a blue collar and leash for him. I get a dog bed, food bowls, and a bag of dog food. I get some toys for him while I'm at it. I go to the cashier and pay for everything. I get in the car and I lay the dog bed in the front passenger seat and lay him down. I get into the car and start driving to Hope's house.
(Hope's POV)
I hear a knock on the door and I walk over to the door to open it. Zach was standing at the door looking at his car. "Hey baby" I say smiling. He turns around and looks at me. "Hey baby I need you real quick cover your eyes and follow me" he says smiling and grabbing my hand so I can follow him. I hear him open his car door. "Happy birthday baby" he says taking my hand of my eyes. I look inside the car and see the puppy. I get excited and hug Zach tightly. "OH MY GOD THANK YOU BABY" I say smiling and grabbing the puppy out of the car. I carry the puppy inside while Zach grabs the rest of the stuff. We get inside and Zach grabs a blue collar out of the bag and put it on the puppy. He then grabs some toys and hands them to me so I could play with the puppy while he put food and water in the dogs new food bowls.
(Zach's POV)
"So have you thought of a name for him baby" I ask walking back into the living room with the food bowls. "I was thinking Murphy" she says smiling while playing with him. I set the bowls down and sit on the floor with Hope playing with Murphy. We play with Murphy for a few hours until he falls asleep from being all tired out. Hope and I start to watch a movie on the couch. Hope lays down and puts her head on my lap. I run my fingers through her hair making her fall asleep. I lean down and kiss her head turning off the tv. I grab the blanket that was in the back of the couch and covered her up. I started to fall asleep until I heard something jump up onto the couch. I look to see Murphy on the couch cuddled up next to Hope. I pet Murphy on the head and then fall asleep.
