"Noelle! I'm going after Asta!" I rushed towards the direction where Asta went.

"Lia-san I think you should come wit-" I didn't hear what she said and continued running towards Asta. I lost them, but I did manage to get to the capital by myself. 

"It looks like hell here. What's with all the lifeless people?" I mumbled.

"Someone save me please!" I turned my head towards the woman with a child in her arms.

I happened to pass by a lot of metal scraps, so I lifted them, wrapped them around the zombies, and threw them to the nearest wall.

"It's okay, I'm here to help you." I bent down and helped them up.

"Thank you, Miss..."

"Lia from Black Bulls."

"Thank you, Lia-neesan. You're so cool, I wanna be like you!" Her kid told me sniffing.

"Well, you're not gonna become like me if you're crying like that I need you to be strong for your mother and for me. Can you do that?" I tried to encourage her.

"Mm-hmm." She nodded and wiped her tears and snot away. 

"Help!"

"Is someone there?"

I looked around and left the two in a safe space while searching for other people.

"What happened here?" I asked one guy.

"I don't know. I just went outside when I heard explosions then I saw a bunch of lifeless people running around chasing other people!" His grip tightened on my collar despite him barely walking in a straight line.

"Please, stay calm and stay within this circle I'll just look for other Magic Knights that can guarantee your safety." I made a defensive circle big enough to fit all of the civilians I rescued.

"Don't leave us!" One yelled.

"Don't worry, you'll be safe here. I promise," I showed them a smile to assure them.

This might be a good time to practice my offense while using defense. I just need to be careful or else the people I left behind will not live to see another day. 

Funny how I used to take their lives like it's nothing, but now here I am, defending them.

I jumped to the roof of the houses and stealthily hopped from roof to roof. I tried using little of my powers to blast some of the lifeless things out of the way.

"Mimosa-san!" I saw Mimosa from afar.

"Lia-san are you alright?"

"I rescued a bunch of civilians over there and I need help bringing them over here. There's a lot of monsters on the way so I think I need a little bit of help." I said.

"Where?" Yuno said out of nowhere. I raised an eyebrow at him, wondering what hole he popped out of. "What?" He also raised a brow to challenge me. 

"Ehem," Mimosa's voice broke our little staring contest. I looked at Yuno before instructing him to follow me.

"Come on,"

I took off together with Yuno. He's flying effortlessly while I'm here jumping from roof to roof. Yuno was blasting every monster coming towards me. We had no problems finding the civilians but they were surrounded by a bunch of monsters.

"Lia-neesan! Save me please!" The kid cried.

Yuno and I looked at each other, trying to read each other's minds.
