"Lia-san good morning!"

"Good morning Charmy-senpai! What's on today's menu?" I asked her.

"Oh no no there's no menu today you can eat all of my noms la~" That's one of the few things I don't regret joining this squad. Time to dig in!

"Thank you for the meal!"

"Charmy-shempai, where are Ashta and the othersh?" I asked with my mouth full.

"I think they're outside la~" With that, I ate quickly to go outside.

"Slow down or you'll choke!" Charmy warned me. I ignored her and grabbed a glass of water and chugged it down immediately.

"Your food tastes good as ever Charmy-senpai!" I shouted as I ran outside.

I saw Asta getting on Magna's crazy cyclone.

"Asta! Where are you going?" I asked him.

"Somewhere, do you want to come?"

"No, I guess I'll train here by myself and get stronger than you." I laughed.

"Lia! No fair!" He whined. "When I get back I'll just train even harder than you!"

"Bleh!" I made a funny face at Asta before they left.

Chuckling on our exchange, I realized that we just called each other without using honorifics, meaning we're already close. That thought put a smile on my face. I am finally making friends now, isn't that cool?! 

I stretched for a few minutes before going into the forest. I made sure to pick the area where there were no people to train peacefully. 

I gathered sticks and stones and made them my target. I plan to practice my aim today. 

Maybe I should turn this place into my training ground? Rig it up with a bunch of traps and targets.

I'd probably do that in the future. I went back to the base to grab my knives and arrows. I bought them when Vanessa took us to the black market. Didn't stick long enough though, that place reminds me of that other place... makes my stomach churn.

I took a deep breath and emptied my mind before starting. I grabbed the knives and threw them one by one, making sure they hit the target precisely and accurately.

Worthless!

Fix her and make sure she never makes the same mistake twice!

I ignored the voices and focused on the targets.

You're not allowed to have any friends.

My breath became heavy. Focus, Lia! Focus on the present!

Monster!

I grabbed my head. "Shut up, shut up." Stop it... 

Your so-called friends will die in your hands.

You will bring them to their misery.

"I said shut up!" Out of anger, I directed my blade using my powers towards the person who just arrived.

"Calm down, it's just me," Yuno said while blocking my attack.  

"Sorry, I just got carried away," I replied. I didn't notice that it was getting dark already and Asta is still not back.
