3rd POV:

It's been... a while since Bill had given Dipper the mirror and the two of them were on good terms.

One morning, while reading in the library, a question entered Dipper's mind.

"Bill?" he asked.

"Yes, Pine Tree?"

"Ford has told me some things about you, but not that much. I've been here, I don't even know how long, but I'd like to know more about you. Like, where did you come from?"

"Oh," Bill said as he blinked at the question and closed his book, "Well when a mommy demon and a daddy demon love each other very much they-"

"You know that's not what I mean." Dipper said as he rolled his eyes, "How did you become BILL CIPHER: the dream demon feared by all mankind?"

Bill sighed, "Alright Pine Tree, I'll tell you. But it's not a very happy story."

Dipper smiled, grabbed his journal and pen, and looked at Bill eagerly.

Bill chuckled and started, "Well Pine Tree, I came from the Nightmare Realm, as Sixer has probably already told you about, but I actually originated from the second dimension. It was a place of flat minds in a flat world with flat dreams. It was like... have you ever gone to the store with your mom and she finds a friend and their conversation is just never-ending?"

Dipper nodded.

"Well, it was like that. But forever. And I thought I was going to lose my mind from boredom! Which, I kind of did. And so... I liberated my dimension by plunging it into burning chaos, along with everyone in it." he said so casually.

"WHAT?!" Dipper yelled, "But what about your friends and family?!"

"Uh, HELLO, first real friend?!" Bill said as he flicked Dipper's forehead.

"Oh, right," Dipper said as he rubbed his forehead.

"And as for my family, my parents didn't make it. Well, not alive anyway. But I've heard that my two brothers are still alive."

"You have brothers?!" Dipper said amazed, surprisingly ignoring the part about Bill's parents, "What happened to them?! Where are they?! What are they like?!"

"We all parted ways into different dimensions. I haven't seen them in a while since one is a whiny baby and the other is a bossy know-it-all." Bill answered.

"That's interesting," Dipper said as he scribbled something down on his journal.

"A lot of time passed after I left and I soon met your Great Uncle. He really was something." Bill said as he lost his train of thought, starting to blush a bit and chuckled, "He was so cute with his nerdy lab coat and glasses."

"What?!" Dipper asked, sounding both jealous and shocked at the same time.

Bill covered his mouth at the sudden realization, "D- did I say that out loud?"

"Bill..." Dipper asked nervously, "Did you have a crush on- or did you and Ford-?"

"Oh, no, no, no, no, no! It was nothing like that Pine Tree!" Bill insisted, "I- I just thought he seemed very nice! Maybe I just liked how smart he is, sort of like you! Not that I'm saying he's smarter than you, but-"

"Just go on with it Bill," Dipper said, sounding a bit upset.

"Well, there's not really much more to say." Bill said, "Sixer wasn't as smart as he seemed and fell for my tricks, and well, you know the rest."
