Chaptet 37

Storm's POV

"Storm I'm telling you, it felt so great to play. Like I can't describe it" Josh tells me as we were on FaceTime.

"I can tell you and your teammates have a good connection"I tell him while eating my popcorn.

"Yea we do, those guys are so cool and it's even better that I got Caleb with me as well" he says smiling while throwing a mini basketball in the air.

"Remember when you were deciding where you wanna go, such a overwhelming week for you" I say to him. He nods and looks at me.

"I'm glad I made the right decision" he says and I nodded.

"Enough about me though. Tell me about how your first day went" he says and turns his whole body towards me and rests his hand on his face. I laughed at how goofy he looked.

"Well, the day started with Star waking me up saying we were gonna be late, which we weren't. I got ready and did all the stuff I was supposed to do blah blah blah then we left. We picked up Luzzy and Kai then-" I explained.

"Who's Kai?" He asked.

"This guy they are friends with. He's pretty cool though. I'm sure you'll meet him soon" I say to him and he nods.

"Alright, proceed" he says and I nodded.

"Um, we got to the school and it looked huge. And when we got inside, I swear we were in a movie or something. Like it looked like I was in High School Musical or something. But yea, I got all registered in and Kai helped me out the whole day to find my classes. At lunch I of course hung out with them. Then throughout the day I got to meet more students and some teachers" I say to him.

"How are the students and teachers there?" He asks.

"They're great actually. All of the students are so welcoming and friendly, along with the teachers. Everyone is just so nice" I say smiling. This place is way better then my old school.

"I'm glad you like it. You're only going to be there a few more months until you graduate. Do you know what college or university you wanna go to?" He asks me.

"No, I haven't thought about that yet" I say now thinking. I graduate in a few months, how could I not think about what I wanna do after.

"Well you know, you can always come to ASU" he says smirking. I smirked back and crossed my arms.

"I'll have to think about that one. Us being in the same school?" I question to myself.

"That'll be so lit. And I can walk you to class, pick you up, take you out to lunch, help each other with our school work. You know, what ordinary couples do" he says and goes back to shooting his mini basketball in the air.

"We aren't a ordinary couple" I said laughing and he laughed along with me.

"You're right I guess" he says. It then gets quiet and I just stare at him through my screen. He's so good looking, just everything about him is attractive. I hope no girls are out there trying to talk him.

"Gosh I miss you!" He says pulling me out of my thoughts.

"I miss you too" I said smiling sweetly.

"When I get back, you're spending the weekend with me and I'm taking you out" he says I couldn't help but blush.

"Really, how about I take you out" I suggested and he let out a laugh.

"Fine, we'll take each other out. Deal?" He says smiling at me.

"Deal" I smiled back at him.

"Oh, did you know Cali worked at Cane's?" I ask him and he glances at me.

"Yea I did actually, I helped her get the job a while ago" he says. I hummed thinking. Interesting.

"That's nice of you. I saw her there yesterday" I say to him.

"Yea, she be going through it with her parents so she needed a job. So I helped her find one" he says. I sat there thinking. I wonder if the way she acts has to with her parents. Or maybe how she acts towards me.

"You ok?" He asks. I look up to see him looking at me while playing in his hair.

"Yea I'm fine, are you ok?" I ask him.

"Yea, I'll be better if I was with you though" he says. It's silent until we burst into laughter. I lean back and laugh loudly holding my stomach. Josh laughs and tilts his head dying in laughter.

"Oh my gosh, I can't breathe" I managed to say still laughing.

"I'm hilarious man" he says and holds his chest.

"Never say that again" I said shaking my head. That had to be the most corniest thing he has ever said. We make fun of corny stuff and joke about it all the time. But this puts the cherry on top. My laugh dies down and I look at Josh still laughing. Man, I love this corny ass boy.

Star's POV

"Luzzy, do you think Kai likes Storm?" I ask Luzzy as we walked in the mall.

"It's hard to tell. I've never seen him have any interest in any girl before" She says shrugging.

"He literally stutters when he talks to her. When has Mr.Confident ever stutter" I say to her and she laughs.

"Bro, when has he ever bought anyone food" I said to  her laughing.

"You're right I guess. But also remember. Kai is a very nice guy. He does very nice things for everyone. What if he's just being nice to Storm" She says and I shrug. 

"You could be right I guess" I say and walk towards this dress. This is cute.

"Plus, we are his best friends. He'd tell us if he liked her" She says walking up to me.

"He has no chance with her. She's taken by the love of her life" I said glancing at her.

"Yea, you're right"
