Chapter 52

1 week later

Storm's POV

"Star, that's not how you do it! It's red, green, white. Not red, white, green" Heaven says to her sister who was putting the Christmas beads on the string wrong. Star waves her off and continues to do as she please, causing Heaven to huff. I looked at the two and giggled at their little moment.

"How's everything going with you Storm?" Heaven asks me.

"All good" I said smiling at her.

It was a new week and I must say, I feel pretty refreshed. I had nothing to stress about and was back on track with my life and school. After that conversation I had with Josh, we were good...for that day. But then we started arguing again because I brought up the fact that Cali did suck him off. I told him to sanitize that dick before it comes anywhere near me again. He got mad at me and stopped talking to me. A few days later, he apologized and that's when we started to work on our relationship.

I had to remember that we were gonna argue, we were gonna fight, it's what couples do. I also had to remember that we weren't an ordinary couple and didn't exactly have ordinary lives. But no matter what, we'll make it work cause we love each other. I'm gonna be 100% honest and say no, I didn't trust Josh. And he didn't trust me. Which caused us to have many problems.

That's the first thing we started to work on. I'd say it's working out pretty well and I'm very happy. Next was our bond, Josh has told me he felt like I've changed a bit, he brought up the same thing Heaven did. So I'm working on that individually. But besides all of that, we are making progress and I couldn't be happier.

Now for Cali, I ended up addressing the situation to her when I went to Josh's practice. When I did, she wasn't all mouth like she always is. I was very confused about that in the moment but didn't care. I put her in her place and she instantly went hush mode. She's lucky she didn't get her ass beat. The only reason why she didn't was because she didn't talk back. Which is very weird.

"Storm, are you excited to spend Christmas with us?" Star asks me.

"Yea I am, it'll be like old times" I say to her.

"What are you getting me?" She asks me causing Heaven to laugh.

"I'm not telling you Star" I say to her and she groans.

"I don't see why you guys always do this. It's not a surprise, just tell me" she says and I shake my head.

"No"

"Fine, I won't tell you what I'm getting you guys" she says and folds her arms.

"Ok Star" Heaven says to her and Star flips her the middle finger. Only Star, I tell you. As we continue to decorate, my phone rings. I stand up and walk over to it to see my dad calling me

"One second guys..." I say to them and they nod. I walk out of the living room and to the kitchen. I press answer and bring the phone to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey Storm, how are you?" He asks me in a very cheerful way.

"I'm good...." I say back.

"That's good Sweety, how's everything?" He says.

"Everything is well" I say back. I haven't talked to him since I was Josh's house that day.

"That's good, so Christmas is coming up"

"Yea it is, but what about it?" I ask him.

"Well, I was thinking. What if I came to spend Christmas with you?" He says and I start to think. Spend Christmas with me? It's been so long.

"Um, I don't know...." I say to him.

"Oh cmon, it'll be fun. And I'll be coming with your mother. She knows already, and your auntie" when he mentions my mom, I start to smile.

"That sounds like fun" I say to him.

"It does, just like old times" He says and I couldn't help but we feel a warm feeling inside. Another reason why I loved the holidays, it brought family together. A time to be with your loved ones. I couldn't be any happier.

"Look Storm, I wanted to apologize for what happened. I shouldn't have left you like that and made you feel the way that you did. I really wanna make things right with you, only if you let me" he says. I sit there and think for a bit. Storm push your pride to the side and give him a chance.

"Alright dad, I'll let you" I say to him and I hear him cheer. I start laughing at how funny he sounded.

"This is amazing honey, words can't explain how happy am" he says which causes me to smile.

"I'm happy too" I said to him. As we talked some more, I felt someone come and poke me my butt. I quickly turned around and see Melo.

"Hey dad, I'll talk to you again soon"

"Yea of course honey. Bye, I love you" he says.

"Love you too, bye bye" I say and hang up. I then look at Melo.

"When'd you get here?" I ask him a bit confused.

"Like 10 minutes ago, I was in the living room helping Star and Heaven with the decorations" he says.

"Ohhh"

"But I came here to chill with you. I was bored" he says and shrugs.

"Well, let's talk. How come you haven't talked to me in days" I say and stand beside him.

"Girl you ghosted me, why haven't you talked to me?" He asks and jumps up to sit on the counter in front of me.

"I've just been trying to figure out my life. But I got it all under control now" I say to him.

"Speaking of your life, how did things go with you and Josh? He beat my ass already" he says and I start to laugh.

"No way! When?" I ask him.

"Two days after his birthday. I went to his house to chill with him and he brought up the situation and beat my ass" he says we both start to laugh.

"What'd he say?"

"He told me that him and me are bros but Ima need to lay off of you" he says.

"And then what'd you say?"

"I said no one wants yo ugly little ass but him" he says and I punch him in his arm. He laughs out loud and holds the spot I punched him in.

"I'm kidding bro, chill. But I did say I didn't want you. Which brings me to this, I got another date with the girl" he says smiling.

"Ooo how'd the first one go? Catch me up with everything" I say and he instantly smiles.

"Ok so basically...." he starts and stand there listening to him, as he talked I couldn't help but smile.

I'm glad he's happy, let's hope him and this girl last!
