Holding her hands under the stream of water, Yvonne started to undo them from the soap."I'm off in an hour, sister night?" Meredith smiled at Yvonne, holding out the towel towards her.
"I'm gonna have to pass, Catherine wants to talk, I'm sorry." She placed the towel back on its rack, placing a hand on Meredith's.
"It's okay, maybe I can try to make Lexie my new victim." The blonde surgeon laughed, opening the door towards the hallway when they both walked out.
"Maybe, you can try." The younger blonde nodded her head at her sister before parting ways. "Who knows."
Nausea caught the upper hand of Yvonne again when she came to a halt, breathing in and out, trying to calm her heart down somehow.
"Middle Grey, today you hit your 14 weeks, you up for another ultrasound?" The voice spoke up from next to Yvonne. "Since we all want to make sure you have a healthy baby."
Noticing Alex Karev sitting down in front of her behind the desk, the feeling of doubt started to fill Yvonne's mind.
"I- I can't. I'm talking with Catherine and Jackson tonight, maybe next week?" The blonde her eyes were staring at the cup of coffee that was standing on the desk.
"Listen it's none of my business, but ultrasounds are important, Eve." Alex leaned back into the chair, hands behind his head, grabbing the cup of coffee with a smirk. "Very important."
The girl ran a hand through her blonde hair, releasing a sigh, knowing he was right about this. "Tomorrow, I'm off tomorrow, and Jackson is on call so that'll work."
Alex's smirk still covered his lips while he swayed the cup of coffee in front of her face. "Then that's settled."
"Can I get a sip? Just one, not even a big one, just a little taste, nothing more." Yvonne held out her hand to the man behind the desk.
"Are you begging me for coffee, now?" Alex smirked, swirling around the cup.
"These weeks I would kill someone for a sip of coffee, please?" Yvonne used her puppy eyes for a pediatric surgeon.
"And then being yelled at by your sweet boyfriend when you finish this?" Alex placed the cup of coffee next to him. "I don't think so."
Yvonne sighed deeply, hand on her slightly round belly decorated with the pregnancy necklace that hung around her neck with a little bell inside.
