A part of me felt guilty lying to Claudia. I just wasn't ready to lay in my bed just yet. I will eventually tell Duffy some things but not everything and not right now. I've avoided both Claudia and Duffy the last couple of days, remaining in my room when I hear them downstairs.

The swelling on my face has gone down I noticed as I admired myself in the mirror. My hair was put up in a slick ponytail, smacking my lips as I apply a burgundy color lipstick. I looked at myself proudly, I looked sultry with my dark color makeup, black sheer deep v cut long sleeve shirt paired with a leather skirt and a pair of heeled black over the knee boots. I eyes light up as I hear "Damn girl!" in Lo's voice. Looking at my phone I noticed I had 20 mins to get to my destination. I felt butterflies in my stomach as I left my room in a hurry not wanting to be late.

Grabbing my keys, I peeked into the kitchen to be met with two pairs of eyes. Claudia looked at me up and down and just shook her head. "Duffy, I think Ana has something to say to you." Claudia said crossing her arms leaning against the kitchen counter. "What? Are we dabbling in prostitution now?" Duffy said laughing "You dressed like that and me as you're pimp we can make a lot of money yah" Duffy said still laughing "You done?" I asked annoyed "I don't know what you heard about me But a bitch can't get a dollar out of me No Cadillac, no perms you can't see That I'm a motherfucking P-I-M-P" Duffy sung humor written all over his face. " BYE" I said turning on my heels walking out the door hearing Duffy laugh.

Reaching my Destination, I took a quick look in the visor mirror "shit" I said as I noticed my lipstick color was fading "Stupid cheap makeup." I said to myself as I reapply my lipstick. Stepping out of the car I smoothed my skirt out as it raised up my ass during the drive. Feeling the crisp night air, I quickly made my way into the restaurant.

It was a very quiet restaurant on the other side of town, we wanted discrete as we both knew if anyone saw us together, questions would be raised. As I walked in feeling the warm of the indoors, looking towards the back of the restaurant I was met with a pair of hazel eyes. Walking towards him, I tugged on my skirt feeling self-conscience, maybe Duffy was right I looked too sluty. Standing up from the table to meet me, he pulled me into a hug. I inhaled his cologne of a woody scent, I started to feel a warm feeling in my gut. "Wow!" he said breathily pulling me of our embrace. "I think gorgeous is an understatement." He said smiling.

My face started heating up as I began to blush. "You look handsome yourself Detective Alex." I said shyly. "Eh, none of that tonight. Tonight, you are Vivanna and I'm Alex." He said pulling out my chair. Sighing I sat down "Well if I'm Vivanna then you are Alexander." I said batting my eyelashes at him. Chuckling Alex sat across from me "Touché". The hours flew by that night. We laughed, ate and drank the night away. We talked about our childhood, our careers, well just his, I kept dodging questions about my career. I would be lying if I didn't say I was surprised when he asked me to take me to dinner. I know before I had said no to dinner but now, I was on a selfish blissful high that I was enjoying.

We never noticed the time until Alex phone began to ring. "Oh my god, it's after 12am" I said looking around the empty restaurant. Alex silenced his phone never looking to see who it was. "You know what they say, time flies when you are staring into a beautiful women's eyes." Hes said giving me a toothy grin. Rolling my eyes from the cliché line I corrected him "I believe it's actually when you are having fun." I said sticking out my tongue. That action drew his attention to my lips which he stared at.

Feeling nervous under his gaze I changed the subject "Should we get going since its late? I don't want to hold anyone up." I said looking around the empty restaurant. I realized everyone had left, even the cook and the waiter, it was just us in the restaurant. "No worries, I know the owner really well." He said still looking at my lips "Really?" I said impressed "Yeah, she's and I grew up together, she can be a real pain in my ass sometimes." He said moving his gaze to my eyes. I did my best to cover up the ping of jealously building up in my chest "Mm that nice." Was all I could say because my mind went on overdrive trying to figure out who "she" was and how much of a competition "she" would be. "Yeah having your sister own a restaurant has a few perks, free food being one of them." He said as humor twinkle in his eyes as if he discovered my not so well hidden jealously. "We just have to lock up after ourselves." he stated as his phone rang again. "Sorry I have to answer this, it's the second call so it's important." Alex said answering his phone. I nodded understanding.

"Hello, what's going on?" he asked his caller. "What the hell! When?" his face got serious and red. I looked studying his face as different emotions washed over his face hearing the news on the other end. A sense of Dèjá vu came to me as I remembered before Val was shot how he answered the phone while we were eating. "Shit!" Alex said breaking me out of my memory.

"Sorry Ana, I have to go, something came up." He said standing up putting on his jacket. As much as I wanted to know what happened I knew it was best for me not to know. At least it has nothing to do with the Familia, no hits have been ordered and we were standing down from any criminal activity for the time being, or that's what I thought.

After locking up the restaurant Alex walked me to my car, "I really don't want you driving home this late but let me know when you get home." Alex said. He leaned down and captured my lips between his. It was short and simple kiss, but it made me weak to my knees. "I'm sorry, I've been wanting to do that all night." He said bashfully. I smiled blushing, "Have a goodnight Ana" he said as I got into the car. He quickly got into his and sped off heading to whatever crime scene he was needed for. I punched in my address into the navigation to head home, as I looked up, I saw a shadow of a man looking towards me, but he disappeared  by the time I looked back.
