Are we going to start or not?

Chris had to leave his roots and go do a press tour for his movie in which was coming out. The one that faith met him at the premiere. He has a few stops to make on his press tour. He went from New York, to California back to London. Then off to Asia.

faith has sworn the week or so by herself in her hotel room, re working scripts, and making filming schedules. His press tour was pushed and extended a few days so did the filming, after they tried to film without him but as he was the main actor so they had to post pone.

It was a nice spring day. Faith decided to escape her hotel room, and walked over to the park near her hotel. As she had to reconfigure all of the dates.

As soon as Chris landed the first person he wanted to see was her. There was something about her that that drew him to her. He texted her "I just landed need to see you, can I meet you somewhere?"

Faith looked down at her phone when it looked and smiled "I'm at the park near the hotel, you are welcome to join. But coffee is required for admission please, I'll pay you back when you get here" she replied to him

"Can do, drop a pin I'll meet you :)" Chris replied to her as he got into his Uber and went home. He took a quick shower and freshened up as the flight was long and then got in his car picked up some coffee and went to her location. He didn't say anything and slowly just walked up to her. "Hey beautiful, whatcha workin on?"

She jumped and let out a little scream "don't sneak up on me like that" she said as she hit him softly "that's just rude" she replied taking the coffee from him and taking a drink "and since we had to postpone, I had to re do all my work which is fine" she said back to him "how was the trip, tell me everything" she asked him as he sat across from her at the picnic table she chose to do her work.

Chris smiled at her "it was good, the fans are amazing at always and I got you something" he smiled at her as he pulled something out of his pocket and showed her a necklace that he saw at one of the shops that made him think of her. It was on a gold chain and it had tag on it with a phrase in Chinese on it.

She carefully reached out her hand and and took it looking at it "what does it say?" She wondered looking at him

He smiled "glad you asked cause im not sure so I looked it up and it says "long for Heart, never be apart - So you can think of me when we are apart" he said back to her being all cheesy.

Faith blushed and looked at him "and all I got you was your production schedule that im not even done yet, Help me put it on?" She wondered as she got up to go sit next to him as she swept her hair to the side and allowed him to latch it around her neck.

Chris latched the necklace and smiled "you don't owe me anything just being around you is enough. Not sure why it took so long for us to meet but im really glad we did"

Faith smiled "i am too, do you want to go get some food. I do owe you lunch or a meal after all, and im kinda starving"

"or we can go to my place and I can cook for you, id rather have a home cooked meal after eating out for the past few days" he said back to her

"well that sounds even better as I haven't had one since ive been out here, and hotel room service is getting old, game on" she smiled as she collected all the work and slide it into her bag "you drove right? Cause I walked over here" She asked him as she walked over to him and slide her hand into his

Chris smiled as he intertwined her fingers "yeah I drove don't worry, we gotta stop at the store first" he said to her as he opened the door to his car for her as she got in

The two drove off to the local grocery store and gathered the things he needed. Faith being who she was threw a few extra things in the cart like a few different chips and chocolate and her favorite soda. They then got back into the car and headed to his house. She helped carry in the stuff and looked at him s she laid on his couch, as she was greeted by a puppy kisses as she started to laugh "oh hi dodger your good I see" she giggled as she tried to avoid the dogs tongue in her mouth

Chris whistles "Dodger down" he said as the puppy listens and goes and lays down next to her instead as he shakes her head "just so you know he is not always like that, he just always likes you, just like his dad" Chris said as he took the bags you still had out to the kitchen.

"well he is adorable so he can give me kisses any time he wants" Faith said as she followed him out to the kitchen. "so what are you making?" She asked sitting at the island watching him sort though the bags

"just some Chicken that im going to grill, I think a Salad and uh rice or a starch of some sort" he said back to her "your not allergic to anything are you?" He wondered before he started to cook

She shook her head "nope not the last time I checked" she replied and reached over and grabbed an apple out of the bowl on his counter and went over and grabbed her bag to keep working "so well you cook I need to know if there is any time within the next month two months lets say that you can not be around?" She asked looking at a calendar since 90% of the flaming required him to be there

Chris slide his phone out of his pocket and handed it to her "if I do it would be in there" He replied and she grabbed his phone unlocking it and opening his calendar just checking.

The next few hours were filled with small talk and laughing. Some time outside, playing with dodger and then some food. Chris smiled at her "do you wanna stay the night tonight?" He wondered "i can promise my bed is way more comfortable then the one in the hotel room" he tried to talk her into it

Faith made a thinking face for a few moments "Christopher are you trying to sleep with me again?" She stuck her tongue out at him "im not that easy sir.. only when im drunk"

Chris shook his head and laughed "no im not trying to get into your pants Faith. I just want to hang out with you longer, and maybe cuddle. But you can sleep in the guest bedroom if you want too instead"

"one question before I answer.. Is dodger a bed hog?" She wondered as she looked over at the dog who was looking at them

"yes" he said simply back to her "with his lion he has his own bed in my room, he doesn't usually sleep in my bed"

"alright ill spend the night" She said back to him with a smile "but im not going to sleep with you" she smirked 'okay thats a lie too ill sleep with you, in the same bed. No funny business"
