chapter two

Aizawas pov-

Shouta Aizawa looked at the girl sitting across from him, And almost felt like crying. your smile was like a complete female copy of HIS. and after hearing you say your name he had his suspicion's solidified that this was indeed f/n child.(**father's name).** he wanted to know everything about you from what what your quirk was to how your mother was doing he wanted to help your family like he promised f/n he would. but he didn't know how to express that at the moment. So he started with the most uncomplicated question "Nice to meet you y/n, now will you tell me about your quirk." Y/n gives him a shy smile. " well it's kind of a shifting quirk I can basically shift into any kind of cat. but if I turn into anything bigger then a house cat then I pass out after about ten minutes." you looked a little sheepish but continued." I can also shift a single part of my body like my ears or teeth, to be like a cat that's what I call cat mode. so umm that's about it...oh I can also understand cats. " you looked at him expectantly. Aizawa gave you one of his rare smile's and said. " That's a really powerful quirk you could probably be a pro hero if you wanted to." you blushed looking down. and Aizawa remembered f/n telling him about how his daughter was going to go to UA one day and become a pro hero. he frowned as a sudden thought came to him. " how old are you y/n?" you looked up at him and said quickly " I'm 16. Why?" his frown became more of a scowl. And he looked around the coffee shop and asked. " why do you work here?" you dodged eye contact while answering. "because it helps out at home." you paused seemingly to think then said "plus I like working here it's peaceful and the boss is super helpful and understanding. She scheduals my shifts to acamodate my class's." he was glad that you had a good manager but the thought of her having to work to help your family gave him a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach, reminding him of how he failed f/n and his family. It was time to tell you. but looking at your smile he lost his nerve and instead asked another question. "Did you ever want to go to UA?" you didn't even hesitate before answering " yes, of course." he wasn't surprised by your answer because he already knew that. what he was curious to know was the answer to his next question. " then why didn't I see you at the entrance exam then? you clearly have a very powerful quirk." your eyes widened as you exclaimed. "how did you know I wasn't at the entrance exam? and you really think so about my quirk?" you looked confused leaning towards him almost standing up out of your chair over the table and he sighed. " I'm a teacher there. I teach class 1A so that's how I know you weren't at the entrance exams. and yes from what you described of your quirk it sounds very useful to me." you sat back down abruptly and said "oh" He sighed again you still hadn't answered his question. Scowling he asked again "So now will you tell me why I didn't see you in the entrance exams?" you looked slightly embarrassed as you responded."I umm had to...work that day." he looked at you unconvinced and said "I thought you have a really understanding manager. couldn't you have just have asked her to give you the day off and worked to pay her back later." he said raising an eyebrow. you dodged eye contact fidgeting with your hands and looking guilty before blurting. "Well you see I didn't think I could get in with my quirk. and UA schedule is a lot more demanding then my old schools, I didn't think I would have enough time to work here and keep up on my studies. But I still decided to try out and so I cleared my schedule for the day of the entrance exams and worked late the night before then I...." then your voice shrinks to the point he almost couldn't hear you as you whisperd. "I umm slept in past my alarm clock by the time I woke up the entrance exams had already ended" you said with a rueful grin. "hmm" he responded. he could tell that behind the grin you were not telling the complete truth but decided to let it slide this time. instead he leaned back in his chair contemplating for a minute apparently he was quiet for to long though because you started shifting uncomfortably. And started to stand up " well it was uhh nice talking to you Aizawa-sensei but uhm I better get going -" you were abruptly interrupted by his next question "are you still interested in entering UA?" You looked at him with widened eyes. and immediately started stuttering " oh, me at UA? no no I mean yes I would.....but tuition fees and time I-" aizawa cut her off again and said " let me be more specific. if someone were to give you a opportunity to get into UA would you. its a yes or no answer." she takes a deep breath then says. "if it was legal, fair and I could afford it then yes." aizawa brightens this is something he could do for you and your family. he sits up straight and say's. " ok I have something to confess." he pauses feeling the back of his throat start to burn. then clears his voice and continues. " I... that friend I was telling you about his name was f/n. your father "

Hello its the author here if you've made it this far then I commend you. if your wondering where todoroni is then I will tell you he's somewhere in chapter four maybe five. i'm sorry but I wanted to do some background for y/n and Aizawa-sensei instead of immediately putting her in UA anyways hope you enjoyed the chapter
